Peter stood in front of the mirror putting on his white suit, waiting for his time to walk down the aisle. Tony was helping his put on the suit since he was always bad at these types of things. But usually, you would be happy and excited about this day. However, Peter wasn't. He didn't want to get married. Sure, he loved Wade. But was he really ready to spend the rest of his life with him? The was so much wrong with him and Wade didn't deserve the mess that he was. After Peter nervously put on his suit he began to shine Wade's shoes since he forgot to yesterday. As he finished shining them Wade ran into the room wearing an unbuttoned dress shirt, no pants, and black socks.

"Baby boy I can't find my shoes anywhere!" Wade said, frantically.

Peter just chuckled and held out the shoes to give to Wade.

"Thank you, baby boy," Wade said as he took the shoes from Peter's hands.

Today is for Peter

To cherish and to keep you

Today is for Peter

"We are getting married, baby boy!" Wade yelled as he ran out of the room.

Wade loved Peter so much. Sure, Peter had his problems but it was nothing that they couldn't get through together. Wade would do anything for Peter. And if Peter was hurt in any way by someone. Wade would figure out the person's home address in seconds and teach them a lesson. He truly didn't know what he would do without Peter.

Pardon me, is everybody here?
Because if everybody's here
I'd wanna thank you all
For coming to the wedding
I'd appreciate you going even more
I mean, you must have lots of better things to do
And not a word of it to Wade
Remember Wade? You know, the man I'm going to marry
But I'm not, because I wouldn't ruin anyone

As soon as Wade left the room Peter once more got nervous. But this time he also looked frightened. Even Tony looked worried for Peter. He knew that Peter loved Wade. What dad would he be if he didn't know this? He also knew about Peter's feelings about this day. He knew it was more than wedding jitters. Tony tried to help him as best as he could but to no avail. Peter ran out of the room into the hallway to try to calm down.

Peter walked back into the room, even more nervous. Wade ran into the room again, but now with a buttoned shirt, shoes, and pants.

"Baby boy, now I can't find my cufflinks."

"It's on the hotel dresser, at the top. Next to my suicide note," Peter said, although he said the last part quietly so Wade didn't hear him. Wade said a quick 'thank you' and ran out the room once more.

Peter was crying at this point he didn't know what to do. He couldn't go on with this wedding. Tony held Peter in his arms trying to soften his cries. A few minutes later Peter had calmed down was ready to walk down the aisle. Well, for the most part. Peter approached the beginning of the aisle and everybody stood up as he entered. Wade was already at the end of the aisle waiting for Peter. Somehow, that made Peter more scared.

Bless this fool

Slipping down the drain

MJ, the maid of honor noticed that Peter was scared. As did Ned, the best man. They were both worried about Peter. Peter got to the end of the aisle and Tony gave him away. Peter held on to Wade's hands still nervous and scared. Eventually, they went through the ceremony without a problem. Well, until they got to the I do's. Wade had said I do already, but now it was Peter's turn. Peter looked at Tony and Tony gave him a reassuring smile and a nod. Peter seemed to relax since he knew Tony would be with him regardless of his choice. Peter looked back to Wade and gave him a sad smile.

"I'm sorry Wade, but I can't do this," Peter said a tear dropping from his eye.

Peter ran down the aisle and stood in front of the building. MJ and Ned wanted to run after him but a look from Tony signaling he would handle it stopped him. Tony then ran after Peter. Wade looked like he wanted to follow him but knew that Peter needed Tony.
