Peter didn't know why he was still traumatized from the events of Infinity War. Actually, that was a lie. He knew exactly why. He couldn't help but flinch every time someone brought it up. He shouldn't be this way. They figured out a way to save Tony from dying thanks to Shuri, Vision was brought back with the mind stone, and Natasha was brought back with the return of the soul stone. Life was back to normal, but Peter couldn't help but feel like he had to look over his shoulder more often. His spider-sense stopped working which caused him to get more injuries on patrol. He tried his best to hide it. But when you are living in Avengers Tower, you can't hide anything.

Peter had just gotten back from his Patrol at one in the morning. He quietly opened the window and stepped into the living room, hoping he didn't wake anyone up. Making sure that he didn't hear anyone get up he started to slowly walk towards his room. Before he could make it out of the living room the lights turned on and someone cleared their throat to get Peter's attention. Peter froze and slowly turned around to see the faces of Tony, Natasha, Michelle, and May.

"Hey guys... what are you doing up so late?" Peter asked.

"We could ask you the same thing, Peter," MJ said.

"Oh, I was just on patrol, nothing special," Peter said.

Before anyone could say anything else, May noticed Peter's injuries and gasped.

"Peter, what happened!" May exclaimed, worried.

"Some guys just snuck up on me while I was helping someone, nothing major," Peter said, brushing it off.

"How? Your spider-sense should have warned you," Tony said.

"I was distracted, honestly there is nothing to worry about," Peter said while looking at the floor.

"Bullshit. You've been coming back with more injuries every day. So, what's really going on?" Natasha asked.

Peter just sighed knowing there was no use lying anymore.

"My spider-sense hasn't been working since we defeated Thanos," Peter said quietly.

"Why?" May asked.

"When Thanos first came, my senses were working fine, but when we got to the spaceship and Tony made me an avenger my spider-sense told me I was going to die. As time passed it was like someone was yelling at me every second, telling me to leave or I would die. I tried to ignore it, but it wouldn't stop. When I came back, I turned it off. I couldn't handle hearing it again. Especially after what happened. I've had it off ever since," Peter said.

It was silent for a couple of minutes, no one knew what to say. Natasha and May got up and hugged Peter. Everyone else got up after them and hugged Peter.

"Peter, I know how hard it is for you. But you have to trust your instincts. If you don't, one of these days you are going to get seriously injured. You won't be doing this alone, we will be with you every step of the way," Tony said after everyone stepped back from the hug.

"Thank you," Peter said with tears in his eyes.
