Chapter 44

Danielle

After officially getting Tamara back, I rented an apartment so that I wouldn't have to stay with Jaycee and Tyga anymore.

Drake visited a lot, of course. But it never got as far as it did the other night at Drake's house.

We spent a lot of time taking Tamara out to the movies, chuck e cheese, etc. , but we never spoke about our relationship.

Drake texted me that morning:

Good morning, what you doing today?

Me: Shopping with Tamara. She starts preschool next week. I gotta get her ready for that.

Drake: Oh okay. Can I tag along?

Me: Sure. You wanna meet at the mall or what?

Drake: I'll just come pick y'all up as usual.

Me: Alright. We're ready when you are.

Drake: On my way right now.

Tamara and I waited for Drake to come. It only took about fifteen minutes. We went to the mall so that I could buy her some school clothes. I guess later on we would buy the back pack and writing utensils that she would need.

By time we were finished at the mall, of course Drake wanted to take us out to eat. We decided to go to the food court. There was a playground next to the food court where Tamara ran off to play after she ate.

"So Dani, can I talk to you?" Drake asked as I drank some of my Sprite.

"Yea, sure. What's up?" I asked.

"So, where do you think your life will be in five years?" He asked, looking interested in my answer.

"Um, actually I'm not sure. I know I want to move with Tamara to New York. I guess I'll still be dancing and singing there. How about you?" I asked.

"Well, I was sort of hoping that I would be with you and Tamara in five years. Living in the same house. Engaged. Maybe married. Danielle, I wanna spend the rest of my life with you. Help me make my dreams come true by being mine?" He grabbed my hand, smiling.

"Aw, Aubrey. I'd love that." I smiled back.

3 months later

"Are we all packed up?" I asked Drake as I grabbed Tamara's bags and brought them downstairs.

"Yeah, I just called Jaycee and Tyga. They're packed too." Drake said.

We began to put the bags in the car.

"I can't believe we're all moving to New York together." I said, getting in the car.

"Yea. I was surprised Jaycee and Tyga were so quick to agree to move with us." Drake said, starting up the car.

"Same. But Jaycee will do almost anything for me. Especially if it's something new and exciting." I replied.

"True. Well, y'all ready to go to the airport?" Aubrey looked back at Tamara then me.

"Yeah!" Tamara yelled excitedly. This would be the first time she traveled on a plane.

We met Jaycee and Tyga at the airport and was soon escorted to our private plane so that we would dodge a lot of our fans.

Once we boarded the plane, AJ and Tamara sat together talking and playing on an iPad. Tyga and Drake were watching the game together and Jaycee and I were listening to music. Soon though, Jaycee went back to her original seat to take a nap, and Drake came back to sit next to me after the game.
