Chapter 49

I woke up early that morning. Drake was still sound asleep next to me and when I got out of bed to check on Tamara, she was asleep too. I decided to walk downstairs and start breakfast. I planned on making waffles, bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches for all of us. Soon, Drake came downstairs and joined me to help cook breakfast.

"Good morning. What do you want to do today?" Drake asked as he walked over to the stove where I was frying turkey bacon.

"Um, I don't know. I heard there's some type of parade today. Maybe we could check that out." I said.

"Sure, we could do that." Drake said.

Once we finished breakfast, I went to get Tamara so that she could eat breakast with us.

"Good morning," Tamara said as she sat down at the dining room table.

"Good morning T," Drake said before handing her a plate of food.

We all ate together. Afterwards, we showered.

"So y'all ready to go?" Drake asked before spraying some cologne on his wrists.

"Yeah I am. Let me check on TJ," I said, leaving out of our room to go to Tamara's room.

"Hey honey bun. Are you ready to go?" I asked, sticking my head in her room doorway.

Tamara was sitting down, drawing on a piece of paper.

"What are you drawing?" I asked curiously. I walked over to her. It was a picture of Drake, Tamara, and me all holding hands in front of a ocean, walking in the sand.

"Aww, it's beautiful." I said, looking at the little stick figures.

"Can we put it on the refrigerator?" She asked after she put her name on the bottom right hand corner.

"Of course!" I said. I picked up the paper and walked into the kitchen. Tamara followed behind me.

"Drake, look at what Tamara drew," I showed Drake the picture.

"Oooh, it looks like we have an artist." Drake smiled.

"Yep, I want it to go on the refrigerator." Tamara said.

"Alright, let's do it then," Drake took a few magnets and stuck the picture on the refrigerator.

"Maybe later I'll draw another picture so that we can have a pretty refrigerator." Tamara said.

"Yayy," I said excitedly.

We all laughed.

"Alright let's go now." Drake said, grabbing his keys from the kitchen table.

We all put on a light jacket.

When we got to the parade, there were so many people everywhere.

Many stars were here already, so once we began to walk past the crowd, the crowd of people around us wasn't as bad as we thought. Of course, there were a ton of people taking pictures.

I held Tamara's hand as I followed Drake pass the crowd. It seemed like he had a specific destination for us to go.

"Where are we going?" I asked him.

"We're going to be in the parade." Drake smiled, grabbing my hand so that I wouldn't get lost in the crowd.

"Ooo yay," Tamara said excitedly.

Our float was sponsered by Young Money, and Honey, Wayne, Nicki, Tyga, Jaycee, and Adrian were already surrounding it.

"We were waiting for you guys to show up." Wayne said as he dapped Drake up and hugged me.
