Chapter 47

"Who was at the door?" I asked, turning away from the television.

"It was just Tyga. He wanted to make sure we were good." Drake replied as he came back to sit with me and watch TV.

"Aighh." I said, going back to watching tv.

The Next Day

I woke up early and couldn't go back to sleep. It was 8 am, and Dani lay with her head on my chest fast asleep. I would get up, but I didn't want to wake Dani. I was too busy thinking about the note. Who could it have been from? Whomever it was knew that we had moved and knew our address. I didn't want Dani to worry, so I didn't tell her about the letter. I would just have to be Tamara and her protector until I find out who it was.

They knew that we got engaged yesterday, so they had to have been spying on us the whole time. But why haven't we caught them yet? I continued to ponder when I heard my phone buzz. Tyga's name popped up on my screen. He had sent me a text message.

T: Did you get a weird note on your doorstep last night?

D: Yeah...What did yours say?

T: It said: "So you thought moving to New York would solve your problems...oops try again."

D: What the fuck? Mine said: "So y'all getting married now...hm we'll see about that. Y'all won't even make it to the wedding. If I have anything to do about it."

T: Oh wow. You told Dani?

D: No; You told Jaycee?

T: Nahh, I figured we would find out before they do and exaggerate the situation.

D: True, that's what I was thinking.

T: But how we going to find out?

D: I was thinking security first. If they get through that, then it'll be something we really have to worry about.

T: True. Aighh man.

By time I had finished texting Tyga, Dani had woken up.

"Good morning beautiful." I smiled, looking down at my chest where she sat up slowly and began to wipe her eyes.

"Good morning babe," She pecked my cheek before getting up and going into the bathroom.

I sat up in bed and decided to find some clothes to wear.

About thirty minutes later, Dani came out of the bathroom in a robe. I could smell her body wash from in the bedroom.

I grabbed my clothes and went to take a shower too.

After I showered, Drake went to take a shower too. I went into TJ's room. She was sitting on her bed, playing on her iPad and watching Disney channel.

"Good morning T," I said, sitting down on the bed next to her.

"Good morning mommy," She said with a cheerful voice as she continued to play Fruit Ninja.

"Go get dressed love. I'll continue your game for you while you shower." I said, taking her iPad and continuing the game that Tamara was still playing.

"Okay mommy." She said as she got up and began looking for clothes to wear.

A few minutes later she held up the outfit she wanted to wear.

"Mommy, do you like this outfit? It looks just like yours." She said, holding up some clothes. It was a blue t-shirt, black jeans, and a pair of black ankle boots. I had on the same colors and black ankle boots too.
