Chapter 46

"Yess, this party looks lit, man." Jaycee said as she walked out of the car. Jaycee and I drove my car while Tyga and Drake drove in another car. AJ and TJ would chill with some kids that were at Melanie's house already.

Once we walked in, Elijah showed us his second baby that Melanie had. escorted TJ and AJ to where the other kids were upstairs before we came back downstairs to join the party.

As Jaycee and I surfed through the crowd, we finally found Melanie speaking to a group of girls.

"hey girls!!" Melanie said excitedly hugging Jaycee then me.

"Hey boo!" We both said.

"Let me introduce you all. So you guys, this is Jaycee and Danielle. All the girls welcomed us. We all just talked and drank until the alcohol started making us feel the music. Soon we were all dancing together on each other.

By time the night was over, all the girls were pretty waisted. A lot of people had already left the party, and soon Melanie, her friends, Jaycee, Tyga, Drake, Elijah, and I were the only ones left to clean up the mess. Well, it was more like just the guys because the girls were still trying to party.

"Dang, what have they been drinking? They looking crazy over there." Eli laughed while picking up some cups from the floor.

"I don't even know. But make sure they don't get no more." Drake laughed.

We were all still dancing even though there was no more music.

I woke up the next morning with a killer headache.

"Ugh, what happened?" I asked, putting my hand on my head as I squinched in pain.

"Y'all were so drunk. It was crazy." Drake laughed as he finished getting dressed.

"Dang, where's Tamara?" I asked immediately, not caring about my headache anymore.

"She's good. She's with Eli and Mel's kids. They were thinking of all of us going out today. You down?" He asked before asking me if I wanted an aspirin.

I nodded. "Sure, I'm down. Tamara and I need some clothes, though. They're all back at the house." I said.

Drake went to get my aspirin and water. "Here you go, and problem already solved. I went to the house this morning to get us all some clothes." Drake went into a bag and handed me some clothes.

"Aw, thanks." I said, grabbing the clothes after I drunk the aspirin/water solution.

"You think you'll be able to eat? It smells like Eli cooked breakfast." Drake asked.

"I think so. Tamara up yet?" I asked.

"Yeah, she's already sitting at the table with AJ, Jacob and Paris Rose. (Eli and Mel's children)

"Okay. I guess she'll just get dressed after breakfast." I said, getting up to take a shower.

After showering and getting dressed, Drake and I went downstairs together to join and eat breakfast. As soon as we sat down, Jaycee and Tyga came downstairs too. Everyone was seated just in time for breakfast. There were waffles, eggs and bacon. We all ate as we decided what to do today.

"Maybe an amusement park?" Eli suggested.

"Sure, y'all want to?" Jaycee asked.

"Yea, it seems fun." I said.

"Alright then, amusment park it is." Mel smiled.

Everyone else who needed to got dressed. Eli and Mel drove with us, and we followed Jaycee and Tyga to the amusement park.

Once we got there, of course there were a lot of paparazzi and attention from fans. However, we just ignored them as we got everyone out the cars and ready to go have fun.

Eventually, we stopped for pictures and autographs from a few fans, but that was so they would leave us alone.

Seeing all the kids on the rides together was really fun. They were having so much fun, and I was really happy that we decided to come to the amusement park. Eventually Drake and I got some alone time when Eli and Mel said that they would watch over the kids. Because the amusement park was next to the beach, we decided to go by the water. Jaycee and Tyga had went to the arcades for some competition.

As we walked, Drake reached his hand down and grabbed mine. He kissed it gently.

"You wanna know what this is missing?" He asked, referring to my hand.

"What?" I asked confused.

"A ring," Drake said as he reached into his pocket. He got down on one knee in the sand and opened a box with a ring in it.

"Danielle Brooks, I know we haven't been going out for a long time, but I have fallen in love with you. I can't see a day without you by my side. Now I hope that you feel the same way I do, and I know that you're a good one and I don't ever want to lose you. So, how would you like it if both of our names had Graham at the end? Will you marry me?" He asked.

I covered my mouth with my hands shocked. I couldn't believe that Drake had asked me to marry him. I hesitated before answering, considering what all of this would mean.

"Yes!" I exclaimed. He put the ring on my finger and hugged me, spinning me around. The ring was beautiful, better than Chris'.

"I love you," He said, leaning in for a kiss. The kiss lasted for a minute or two.

"I love you too," I said once we ended the kiss.

Of course, many people realized the proposal and was taking a bunch of pictures and wanting to ask questions, but we didn't answer any of them. Soon, we started making our way back to Elijah, Melanie, Jaycee and Tyga. They were all in the arcade with the kids playing games with them. Once we got inside, they all turned to us.

"Why both of y'all all cheesy and glowing?" Tyga asked.

"Yeah, something happened that y'all all happy and stuff." Melanie smiled.

"Spill the beans," Jaycee demanded smiling as well.

I motioned for Drake to tell them. He just lifted my hand up.

"Oh my gosh!" Melanie and Jaycee both said at the same time. Tyga and Eli smirked.

"Congratulations man," The guys said dapping Drake up.

"Awee now we gotta celebrate." Melanie said.

"You just want another party," Eli said, shaking his head.

"What? I love parties!" Melanie shrugged.

I laughed. "That's great, you can help plan our house warming party. We just don't know anyone from the East Coast who will be able to come." I said.

"Girl, I know so many people. I got you.Your party is going to be perfect." Melanie smiled.

We stayed at the amusement park until we all got tired, including the children. Drake was carrying Tamara, who was sleeping on his shoulder as we walked to the car. Once we got back to Melanie and Elijah's house, we dropped them off and drove to our house. Jaycee and Tyga were right behind us in their car.

We got in the house and laid Tamara to bed. We went back downstairs to watch television when we heard a knock on the door. We figured it was either Jaycee or Tyga, so Drake went and answered the door.

However, no one was there. But there was a note.

So y'all getting married now...hm we'll see about that. Y'all won't even make it to the wedding. If I have anything to do about it.

The person didn't sign who it was from. Drake looked around the property, then balled up the note and went back inside the house.
