Danielle

I woke up to the smell of bacon causing my stomach to rumble. I stretched and got out of bed, struggling to find my slippers. Who the hell is cooking breakfast? I know I was the only one in this house when I went to sleep. I unlocked my phone which was sitting on my nightstand. It read 8:00 AM. I was not freaking out at this point because I knew that Tyga and Jaycee also had keys to the house; so I figured it was one of them.

As I walked down the stairs, the aroma of bacon strengthened and I began to hear the sizzle as they cooked in the pan. Once I walked into the kitchen, Michael looked away from the fridge and smiled at me.

"Good morning sleeping beauty; come watch LA's finest chef cook the best food you'll ever taste."

I laughed at him as I sat down at the table. "Oh my gosh, is Michael Stevenson actually awake before 12PM? This is unbelievable." I gasped.

Michael laughed. "Haha, very funny. I have a meeting today at 11, so I had to rise and shine early today. I decided to swing over by your house just to bother you."  Michael walked over to the counter and cracked some eggs in a bowl before whisking them and putting them into another pan. He poured pancake mix into the waffle maker, and placed bread into the toaster.

Soon, he put a plate full of food in front of me before handing me the syrup, butter, and orange juice.

"Thanks for the wonderful breakfast, Michael," I said as I placed my empty plate into the dish washer. I walked over and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"You are welcome baby girl; it was like your congratulations breakfast for making the part. Speaking of, how was practice yesterday? I heard someone was a little mean." Michael asked before doing the same with his plate.

"Mean? I wonder where you heard that from." I rolled my eyes.

Michael laughed. "I heard all about practice. I think maybe you should loosen up on Aubrey, though. He's a nice guy."

"I guess." I stated blankly. Shortly after, I got a text message from Drake.

"Speaking of the devil. I just got a text message from him." I informed Michael.

"What does it say?" Michael asked.

I showed him my phone screen:

Good morning Danielle. We have practice today from 12 to about 2. We're trying to finish the video asap.  —Drake

Once Michael was done reading the text message, I replied back:

 I'll be there.

Michael continued the conversation once I was finished. "Since Drake is pretty persistent, he'll probably try to take you out on a date again. This time, you should say yes. At least give him a try."

I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Fine," I replied, about to take a shower and get dressed.

By the time I finished getting dressed, Michael had already left my house. Shortly after him, I proceeded to practice.
~

I arrived at practice about twenty five minutes early, so the practice room was empty. I decided to walk into the break room where they were chairs to sit in and wait. When I opened the door to the break room, I was surprised to see Drake grabbing water from the fridge.

I gave him a small smile before sitting on the couch. After grabbing his water, he sat down next to me.

"Hey, sorry I annoyed you yesterday."

I thought about what Michael told me. Be nice, Danielle. "It's okay. I was acting bitchy and I shouldn't have. You didn't do anything wrong." I replied, trying to be as convincing as possible.

"So you forgive me?" Drake asked, his eyes glistening.

I tried to hide my smile. I had to admit the look on his face was adorable. "Yeah, I forgive you," I replied.

There was an awkward silence before Drake spoke up. "We better start stretching. Practice starts in a couple minutes."

I smiled. "Yeah, let's go." We both stood up and made our way to the practice room.

"Now let's move to the ending of the video where Danielle will return to the wall and Aubrey will hover over her." Honey ordered.

We all moved into our places. The music played and Drake began to sing. I played my part, trailing my fingers from his neck to his chest and then the top of his belt. Drake caressed my cheek as he inched closer to my face.

Yes this was a kissing scene. I didn't know until today, and I was not looking forward to it. I realized the moment was getting closer and closer as Drake leaned in more and closed his eyes. I closed mine too, and I felt our noses touch briefly before our lips. A rush overcame my body as Drake wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me in closer to him.

"That's a wrap!" The director exclaimed, and I pulled away quickly.

Drake smirked at me before walking away. The background dancers gave me glares once Drake exited the room. I rolled my eyes before gathering my bag to leave.

I can't believe I just kissed Aubrey Drake Graham.
