The Pauper's Prince

*A Call*

Chen was sitting in Wayo's office, getting an earful from Phana "dude, that was humiliating. It's a good thing there was no camera and no one recognized us." Wayo placed his hand on Pha's arm "Pha, come on, give him a break. You know what happened, right?"

"You don't have to remind me about what happened, I remember everything until the part that Forth dragged me out of that restaurant." Chen rolled his eyes.

Chen recalled the boy in the restaurant. He felt ashamed with his actions, the way he asked is totally uncalled for but his offer stands. He wanted to ask him if he's willing to pose as his boyfriend for a price, and the words just didn't come out right. He's trying to recall the name of the boy "ah right... Nine"

His friends gave him a look "Are you counting?" Phana had to ask. Ben, the twin brother of Phana, said "or are you referring to the waiter last night?"

"Yes, I feel bad about what I said, it came out wrong."

"You should." Wayo chided.

"I wanted to ask if he can pose as my boyfriend, I am willing to pay." Chen said.

"So like a decent job?" Wayo had to ask, knowing Chen's playboy & horndog reputation, he needs to make sure that his friend isn't going to do something extremely stupid even now he knows that eventually, he would.

"Yes, I mean, I need to make Fluke jealous. I'm going to make sure that he regrets breaking up with me." Chen said.

"Okay, I knew it, you're thinking about doing something stupid." Wayo said holding his hands up.

Chen was still seething from last night, how dare Fluke dump him for someone less than him! He is Archen Aydin, one of the most eligible bachelors of the country, the sole heir to the Aydin Group of Companies, his networth is already at the billions! "Nine is cute, fair-skinned, he looks like a model. He just needs a little makeover."

"He is cute" Ben agreed "but your plan is crazy."

"It is, but it might just work" Phana commented.

Wayo's phone started to ring and he excused himself "Hello, this is Wayo Kongthanin, how can I help you?" and there was dead silence on the other line "Hello?" Wayo repeated the greeting and still got no response. Hung up the phone and returned to the conversation "So where are we?" As Wayo is about sit, his phone started to ring again with the same caller. "Ah shit, who is this?" he excused himself again and answered the call "I swear if this is not important and don't answer, I'm going to block you!"

"I'm sorry Mr. Wayo, it's me Nine, the waiter from last night. Please don't hang up! I'm sorry, I was just really afraid."

Wayo was surprised that Nine called "Oh, I'm sorry, what's going on, how can I help you?" Wayo was quite concerned with Nine's tone of voice.

"Well, Mr. Wayo, my family and I are kinda in a terrible position right now..." Nine related the story of what happened after Wayo's group left last night "and I was wondering if you have any available job that I can take?"

Wayo really did need an assistant "do you think that you can go here later today? Let's talk."

Now, Wayo just needs to make sure that Chen is no longer in his office.
