No one knew the angel was on Earth except for his father. He had left because he couldn't watch his brother's fight constantly. He was the youngest out of the five archangels. He loved them more than anything, but once his father created humans, he followed his orders to serve them and love them more than anything. Lucifer disobeyed this order and was cast out by Michael. Y/N left to live his life without the constant decisions being made for him.

He still worked miracles for humans and did his best to keep his secret. The vessel he had was a man with H/C hair and E/C eyes. He wore flannel shirts with leather jackets and jeans most of the time. During his time on Earth, he had only encountered one other angel, Castiel, who swore not to tell anyone. Him and Castiel had always been close, almost as close as him and Gabriel; he knew he would not break his promise.

Y/N was sat at a diner when he heard two boys talking about killing a demon, but not just any, Lucifer. He scoffed at the fact they thought Lucifer was a demon. He turned and saw the Winchester boys. He recognized them immediately from the Winchester Gospel he was told, about the two who would cause the final fight between his two older brothers. One was the vessel for Lucifer, the other for Michael.

He stood from his food and walked over to the door, pausing for a second and watching them until Dean looked up and saw him. He averted his eyes quickly, ducked his head and walked out the door. He knew the boys would follow him. He held his head low and walked down the street then ducked into an alley. He went to the top of the building and saw the boys looking around for him. He looked up and scanned the horizon in sadness. He vanished as the boys looked up at the roof he was on.

He was in his home when he heard a knock on the door. He stood and grabbed the angel blade he carried. He held it against his arm and walked over to the door. Outside was Castiel, who visited him normally. He set the blade down and unlocked the door for him.

"I see you've met the Winchesters." Y/N scoffed and grabbed his drink off the table.

"Yes, met wouldn't exactly be the word. I heard them talking about killing our brother and I left, then they tried to follow me." Castiel looked around the house like he normally did when he visited. He walked into the kitchen and looked around. Y/N followed him and leaned against the doorway.

"They won't be able to do it, you know that. Lucifer can only be killed by Michael once he has been let out of the cage." Castiel turned to his brother and nodded.

"I know. 48 of the 66 seals have been broken. They are breaking faster than we can stop them. He will be freed soon, and someone needs to stop it." Y/N pushed himself off the door frame and walked over to Castiel with a glare. He stopped a foot in front of him, where they would have been nose to nose if it weren't for the height difference.

"Castiel, no one can 'stop it'. The only one who can, seems to have disappeared. I love Dad, I do. And you know that, but why is he doing nothing to stop this? What have the humans done to deserve this? It is a battle between brothers and it does not have to affect them. I know you agree with me brother." Castiel lowered his head and sighed.

"I'm sorry Y/N. I don't know why they have to be part of this, but they do." Castiel left an angry angel standing in his kitchen. Y/N looked down without moving his head. He sat his drink down on the table next to him and vanished from his house to the top of the Empire State Building.

He sat on the edge and looked out over the view of the New York City skyline. He could see the infrastructure of the new One World Trade Center being built a few miles over. He looked out over the water and saw many boats gliding across like little leaves on a creek. He looked down to the roads and saw the people walking around, some going fast to their destinations, some wandering around aimlessly.
