*Hey there, demons. It's me, ya boi. I got this request literally maybe 12 hours ago I think? And I kinda had an idea, so ta dah. Here it is. Thank you to the person who requested it, also, to others, feel free to shoot me a request in mah dms. I started writing one shots for Criminal Minds, so, lemme know if you interested in that. Haven't finished the first one, so it might be a while before I post. I like to get a few written before I commit to a schedule. Anyways, imma go now and say bye to my brothers and sisters while they go to school. - Eastern Easton.*

When Y/N woke up from his sleep, he looked around and saw Sam sitting at a desk across the room. He sat up and rubbed his eyes, wiping the remnants of sleep from them. His yawn was what alerted Sam to the boy as he turned in the chair.

"Hey, kiddo. How'd you sleep?" Y/N looked around and shrugged. At this point, he wasn't concerned with sleep anymore, he wanted to know where he was. The last thing he knew, he was on the couch in the living room.

"I want food, please." Sam smiled at the boy's manners and stood up. He walked over to him and picked him up, carrying him out of the panic room and up to the kitchen. As he entered the room, the heads of the researchers turned to the newcomers. While Bobby sent a questioning glance, Sam sat the boy down in the vacant chair at the table.

"He said he was hungry. He just woke up. What should I fix him?" Bobby stood and walked over to the fridge, pushing Sam away from the food. He didn't trust Sam in the kitchen after the last macaroni accident. Sam sat in the chair Bobby had just occupied and looked at the product of their research: nothing. Y/N sat on his chair and peered over every one of the papers, not that he understood many of the words.

After a few minutes, Bobby brought a bowl of Kraft Mac-n-Cheese. He sat it in front of Y/N and placed the fork in the bowl. Y/N gave the food a weird stare before looking up at Sam.

"What is this?" Dean's mouth dropped open, and Sam laughed. He scooted his chair closer to the boy's and picked up the fork. He grinned as Y/N watched in absolute fascination. Sam grabbed a piece of macaroni on each prong of the fork and held it up to Y/N.

"It's called Mac-n-Cheese, it's really good if you put it on the fork like this though." Y/N took the fork from Sam and nodded, examining it thoroughly. He put the fork in his mouth and all four men could see his eyes light up. He started to put the Mac-n-Cheese on his fork like Sam had shown him and continued to eat the entirety of the bowl that way. When he was done, he handed the bowl back to Bobby, who put it in the sink.

"We have no clue what will happen when we put his Grace back in him, so we're just gonna wing it." Dean shrugged as he turned to look at Sam. Sam laughed and shook his head.

"Because when has that ever failed?" Dean shrugged again. Cass pulled the bottle of Grace out of his inner pocket and stood to walk over to Y/N. He knelt next to him and was about to open the bottle, stopping when he heard Sam's voice.

"Let me do it." Cass handed him the bottle and stood up, taking a step away from the boy. Sam carefully pulled the cork out of the miniature bottle and watched as the blue light glided into Y/N's mouth. The room started to glow a soft blue that grew into a harsh white as it got brighter. The three hunters had to cover their eyes to protect themselves from the blinding lights. When the light faded away, the three hunters were left in shock.

The boy who had just been sitting in front of them at the table was now a man, in his late twenties they were guessing, dressed in the same clothes as before. He looked practically the same, his h/l, h/c hair and e/c eyes were what confirmed he was still him.  The angel stood from his seat and stretched. He stood straight and put his hands in his hair, roughing it a bit.

"Hi, boys, Bobby. Hello, brother." Y/N's lips pulled into a small smirk as he looked around. "This place looks so much different when you're small. Gosh, I'm almost as tall as Cass, now. I used to barely be up to his waist. Time sure does fly, huh?" He started to chuckle as he snapped and replaced his children's clothes with a plain black tee and khaki pants.

"How long have you been a child? Only 5 years?" Y/N looked over at Sam and shook his head.

"No, no, no, no, no. I've been living a human life for over 500 years now. I'd age like any other human, live my life, then die, but when I died, I was brought back to start the process all over again. My Grace was always near me, and there were a few angels placed near me to protect me. I remember all of it though. The lives I lived, the people I loved. I watched them die in front of me. I think the worst life I lived was as Warren Muck. I was a paratrooper in the army during WWII. I had a fiance and I had enlisted in the paratroopers for the extra 50 bucks. That was so not worth what we were put through. I was with my company till we were in Bastogne, mortar shell hit my foxhole in a direct hit, killing me and my buddy Alex Penkala. I didn't live past 25." Y/N had sat back down, staring out the window as he talked about one of his previous human lives. The others felt awful for him. He had been put through so much, over and over again. Sam put a hand on his shoulder and pulled him out of his thoughts. Y/N glanced over at him and saw the reassuring smile. Y/N gave a small smile back then stood up again.

"Well, enough sadness. Does anyone want to hear about some of my other lives?" Sam, Dean, and Bobby nodded. Y/N looked at Cass who smiled and nodded. Y/N grinned and started to tell his stories with multiple theatrics, waving his hands around, jumping up and down, and moving constantly.

"My last life, before this one, I was an FBI agent. My name was Jason Gideon, and I worked with the BAU. That's Behavioral Analysis Unit. We profiled criminals to help find who committed the crimes and arrest them. I remember, as a young agent, it was one of my first cases, and it was a bomber. So one of the guys on my team, Max Ryan, he decides I should go search this bomber's car. The guys had put the FBI director's schedule for the next two days in the front of the car. When I went to search the car, I found it and immediately went to the director. Of course, that was 25 flights of stairs, and I ran into the meeting room, interrupting a meeting with the attorney general. Ah, I was so embarrassed. After a while, I got over my embarrassment, I realized how funny that had been. In fact the only one who didn't find it funny was the director himself." The others were laughing throughout the entire story. Y/N continued to go through his stories as the others listened and they shared drinks. Y/N looked around at the friends surrounding him. He had always wanted a family like this. He became glad he had lost his grace and became a human because it enabled him to meet Bobby Singer and the Winchester brothers. His new family.
