The hunter had been tracking the Trickster that killed one of his younger friends for months. Every time he thought he was getting close, the Trickster would just vanish, as if he had never even been there. He tried multiple times to get into contact with the younger Winchester, but he was nowhere to be found.
He was sitting in his motel room, doing research about another monster he was hunting, when he heard plastic crinkling behind him. He turned around and saw the Trickster leaning against the counter with a sucker in his mouth. He jumped up, grabbed a small knife from his pocket and lunged to attack him. He disappeared and the knife went into the wooden counter. He reappeared on the other side of the room.
"Whoa there, tiger, calm down. I only wanna have a talk with you." The hunter glared with his jaw set and tried to attack him again. The Trickster rolled his eyes and snapped. Suddenly, the boy was strapped down to a chair with the knife in the Trickster's hand.
"There. Now we can have a nice little chat without any aggression." The Trickster grabbed another chair and turned it around to sit in it backwards. He folded his arms and rested them on the back of the chair, then rested his chin on his arms.
"Go to Hell." The hunter was killing the Trickster over and over in his mind. The Trickster looked offended.
"I'd say I have done nothing that would warrant that kind of hostility. Now, Y/N," He snapped his fingers again and duct tape appeared over his mouth. "I'm going to talk to you, and you're going to listen." The hunter raised his head and looked straight at the Trickster, wanting to ask how he knew his name.
"So, as you know, I killed Dean Winchester over and over and over, making Sam relive the same Tuesday again and again and again. Then when Sam begged me to stop, I stopped the time loop, but then I killed Dean again. This time because there was no time loop, Dean didn't come back the next day. So I've made little Sammy go on without his big brother Dean by his side. Now he's been looking for me for a while, and so have you. Do you wanna know why I've done it?" Y/N stared at the Trickster lamely and waited for him to continue talking.
"I did it, because Sam needs to learn that family is his weakness. Everyone knows it too. And they'll use that against him." Y/N's glare came back. The Trickster snapped and the duct tape on the boy's mouth vanished. He stayed silent.
"What, no snappy comeback? No insult to me?" The Trickster turned his head putting his ear closer to Y/N as if he were trying to listen closer.
"Bring. Him. Back." The hunter spoke in an intimidatingly gravel voice. Or, it would be intimidating if the Trickster didn't have a few tricks up his sleeve. He rolled his eyes and scoffed.
"You're like talking to a brick wall. It isn't fun to screw with your heads anymore," he pouted. "This stopped being fun a few months ago." Y/N looked at him incredulously.
"Then why have you kept this stupidity up for this long? Why not bring Dean back and leave the Winchesters alone? I'd rather you fuck with me than with them. They have a way worse life than I've had, they don't deserve any of this." The Trickster shrugged and stood up. He let Y/N out of the bindings he was in.
"Okay." Y/N furrowed his brow and tilted his head.
"Okay?"
"Yeah, okay. I'll mess with you instead of them. I'll bring Dean back once I make sure Sammy understands the lesson and leave them alone." The Trickster waved to Y/N then disappeared, leaving a sucker in his place. He walked over and picked it up, then laughed coldly at it. The Trickster's sense of humor was so screwed up. He opened it and popped it into his mouth, throwing the wrapper away.

Dean had been back for a while now. They had met with Y/N on a few occasions. Dean didn't realize what it had done to Sam and Y/N. They were the only two who remembered the six months without him. Y/N was like the Winchester's older brother. He had hunted with their dad before Sam left for college. He was there when the conversation between a 17 year old boy and his dad occurred. It had hurt his heart to see such a young kid's reaction to being told to never come back.
