*Was no one gonna tell me I hadn't posted in a over a month?! I try to post at least every 10 days, so if I don't, message me or comment, do something to remind me, cause I probably forgot, and I got enough chapters to be able to post for the next 7 months. - Eastern Easton*
Y/N sat on the couch in his room at the bunker. He looked up at the ceiling and took a few deep breaths. He closed his eyes and opened them again, hoping to see a difference in the ceiling. He looked over to Lucifer sitting on a chair on the other side of the room.
"I'm not worth anyone's time." Lucifer gave Y/N a look and held up his hand.
"Do I not have any say?" Y/N shrugged and turned his head back to the ceiling.
"It's not like the real you'd say anything different. You're not even really here. You're just here cause of the hallucinations." Y/N took another deep breath and stood from the couch. He walked over to the chair Lucifer was sitting on, picking it up and moving it into its spot at the desk. Lucifer leaned against the door and tilted his head and Y/N.
"The boys'll be better if I left. I don't know what car I'll take, might call a cab. They don't need someone who sees the fallen archangel helping them with monsters." Y/N walked over to his bed and straightened his covers. He stood up straight and examined his work. Once he decided it was adequate, he turned to his closet to grab his duffel. The clothes he shoved in were the normal of what he would wear on hunts. As he finished, he zipped it up and looked at Lucifer. He hadn't moved from his spot by the door.
"Ok, Hallucifer, let's call a taxi!" The man said in a fake happiness. He walked to the door and slung his bag over his shoulder. As he got to the door, Lucifer uncrossed his arms and put his hand on Y/N's chest.
"You're not going anywhere. I'm not a hallucination anymore, Y/N. I've been real for a long time." Y/N's mouth parted as his brain tried to comprehend the information.
"What? How long?" Lucifer looked at Y/N and his gaze softened. Y/N's gaze hardened as he set his jaw. "How long, Lucifer?" Lucifer's eyes left Y/N's face and went to the wall behind him.
"Almost a year now. I didn't want to tell you until I knew you were in a better mental state, but I couldn't let you leave the Winchesters." Y/N turned around and dropped his bag as he walked to his bed. He sat on the edge and dropped his head to his hands.
"You let me think I was crazy. You knew what it would do to me. You're a selfish prick. Get out."
Lucifer took a step toward Y/N, "Y/N, I,"
"I said get out. Leave me alone." When Y/N looked up, Lucifer was gone. He fell backwards onto his bed and started to rub his face. A knock on his door made him jump a bit before he stood to open the door.
"Hello?" He asked as he pulled the door open. Cass stood at the door. His head tilted when he saw Y/N.
"Why are you in distress?" Y/N turned and walked to his couch, silently allowing Cass into his room. Cass walked in and shut the door behind him. He sat on the couch next to Y/N.
"Apparently Lucifer isn't just a hallucination anymore. He's been real for almost a year." Cass nodded. Y/N snapped his head toward Cass and glared at him.
"You knew?!" Cass nodded and turned his body towards Y/N.
"I though you knew as well. He mentioned he had told you." Y/N rolled his eyes and scoffed as he threw his head back.
"No, he didn't. Why didn't he tell me?" Cass shrugged and rested his hand on top of Y/N's.
"I don't know my brother's reasoning for being untruthful, but I know it must have been to protect you. That's his main goal, to protect you. He loves you, Y/N. He'll never admit it to you, but I can tell all of the signs. His wings expand when you're around, and they are always wrapped around you." Y/N raised his eyebrow and scoffed once again.
"Yeah, right. If he did love me, he wouldn't let me think things that weren't true." Cass stood and left the room. Y/N threw his hands up and scoffed. Cass appeared again with a bowl in one hand and a packet of matches in the other. He set the bowl down on the table by the couch and lit a match, dropping it in the liquid. He reached over to Y/N.
"What?" Cass reached up to his face and slowly pulled off his glasses.
"I'm going to pass your glasses through the holy fire. You'll be able to see many things you'd never see with your human eyes." He slowly pulled them through the fire, being careful not to burn himself. When he was done, he snapped and the holy fire was extinguished. He cooled the frame of the glasses and handed them back to Y/N.
Y/N looked at Cass suspiciously. Cass nodded and Y/N pulled them on. When he looked up, he saw Cass's elegant, black wings. His mouth parted as he gasped. A soft smile passed over Cass's lips. Y/N's mouth pulled into a smile as his eyes roamed the wings.
"I can see your wings, Cass. They're amazing." Cass nodded as he looked over his shoulder.
"Yes, they are. There is something you have yet to see. I'm going to leave. I suggest you pray to Lucifer." Y/N grinned and nodded. As Cass vanished, Lucifer stood in his place. Behind Lucifer were a huge pair of snow white wings. Y/N gasped again as he looked at the wings. Lucifer tilted his head and frowned.
"What? What's wrong?" Y/N stepped forward with a small smile. He reached out and touched Lucifer's wing. Immediately, Lucifer grabbed Y/N's wrist and glared at him. Y/N's smile was replaced by a terrified look. Lucifer loosened his grip and looked down.
"I'm sorry. I'm not used to people touching them. How can you see them?" Y/N let out his breath and motioned to his glasses.
"Cass put them through holy fire." Lucifer nodded as he completely let go of Y/N's wrist. Y/N lowered his arm and looked at Lucifer's face. It showed regret and guilt.
Before Y/N could get a word out, Lucifer opened his mouth and cut him off.
"I'm sorry for not telling you. All I want is for you to live your best life. Y/N, I want you to be happy. I want it because, I, I,"
"Love me." Lucifer looked at Y/N with worry. He nodded. Y/N smiled slowly and hugged Lucifer quickly. Lucifer tensed, before he wrapped his arms around Y/N.
"Is that okay?" Y/N laughed and looked at Lucifer's face.
"Of course it is, you doof. I love you, too." Y/N watched as Lucifer's wings wrapped around the both of them. He grinned and rested his forehead on Lucifer's shoulder.
"Do you know what I love most about you?" Y/N hummed as he closed his eyes. "Your little smile. The way your mouth parts slightly, but you can barely see your teeth. The way it reaches your eyes and it lights up the room." Y/N smiled and started to blush. Lucifer raised his head to see his smile.
"See! There it is. And your cute, little giggle." Y/N shook his head to get loose of Lucifer's hold and hid his face in Lucifer's shirt.
"Stop, that's not fair," he pouted. Lucifer laughed and wrapped his arms around Y/N's body.
"Fine, I'll stop. I still love you." Y/N smiled and mumbled into his shirt.
"I love you, too, ya big dummy." Lucifer smiled and hugged Y/N tighter.
