No Sam or Dean. Just John. Also, some people go by nicknames all the time then have like a nickname for their nickname. So F/N means like your full name, so like, my real, real name is Easton, but I go by East sometimes, and close friends call me Easty. So if I were to see F/N, I would put in Easton. so yeah.**About halfway through reading this, I realised that Jimmy Novak was a person in the show. My band teacher's name is Jason Novak, he's a real person.**

"Dad, come on. I wanna help," Y/N said as he sat in the front seat of his father's Impala. John looked over at his son with a glare.

"I said no. You could get hurt. Stay here, in the car. I'll be back once I'm finished." John parked the car in front of the hotel the monster was staying in. It was a nice hotel, nicer than any Y/N had been in. He climbed out of the car and went to the trunk. Y/N sighed and turned to watch his father through the back window. The trunk raised and his view turned to black. Y/N turned back around and looked down to the radio and grabbed his box of cassettes.

"I'm serious, Y/N. Stay here." Y/N looked up to his dad and nodded quickly. He moved his eyes down to his cassettes and pulled one out. The door shut and Y/N glanced up once more before pushing the tape into the radio. The first song on the tape began to play as Y/N set his box back onto the floor. He watched his dad walk into the front doors of the hotel.

"I'll show him that I can help. I can. I'll wait until this song's over so he doesn't see me come in." He sat in the seat, drumming along to the song and waited for it to fade out. He pulled the tape out when it finished and dropped it into his box. He grabbed the keys and pushed them into his back pocket before he climbed out of the car. He looked both ways to make sure nobody was looking, then he ran over to the entrance of the hotel.

"Woah, this place is huge," he muttered to himself as he pushed the doors open and walked into the lobby. He looked up at the huge staircases that led to the middle of the floors. A group of kids were sitting in the area on one of the floors. Y/N figured he should ask them if they had seen his dad. He walked over to the stairs and looked at the number of stairs, figuring they went at least up to the sixth floor. He started to jog up the stairs, and before he knew it he was at the top.

"Hey look, it's Y/N!" Y/N tilted his head and looked for the voice that had said his name. It was a girl that looked a little bit younger than him. She walked over to him and gave him a hug, making him tense up. She let go of him and still had a big smile on her face.

"I'm sorry, I don't think I know you." The girl frowned and looked at her friends. Y/N took a step back and looked around. He spotted someone he did know however.

"I forgot you wouldn't know us. All of us know you though, Mr. Novak talks about you all the time. You're like a living legend because of your guitar skills. Your picture is up on the wall in the band room. Novak makes every first year listen to some of your songs." Y/N raised an eyebrow as he looked back down at the girl.

"I didn't realize I made such an impact." Y/N chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck. The girl nodded and smiled again. She held out her hand.

"My name's Reilly. Mr. Novak will be surprised that you're here too." Y/N shook her hand and nodded.

"Yeah, I'll have to say hi to him. Question, have you seen a guy with a baseball cap, a leather jacket, and a duffel bag? He has kind of a five o'clock shadow if you know what I mean." She shook her head.

"What's a five o'clock shadow?" Y/N pursed his lips.

"Uh, he hasn't shaved, so it's starting to grow out. But have you seen him? He's about this tall." Y/N used his hand to show her how tall John was. She looked away in thought then shook her head.
