“Come on Cas!” You giggled while wearing your new costume. It wasn’t anything too impressive, just a small thing you were able to throw together for the holiday. It was your favorite time of the year after all, a day full of binge eating candy. You even convinced Castiel to come with you to the store. The boys were dead set on not allowing you to go trick or treating since it was ridiculous, but you still got to eat candy so that’s all that mattered.
“Dean said not to let you have too much candy.” Castiel reminded you and you scoffed. “Oh please, like that matters. It’s Halloween night after all, I say candy for all. I’m going to eat until I can no longer move!” You declared while throwing up your arms. “I don’t think that’s very safe to do, Y/N.” Castiel said in a slightly concerned voice.
“Oh please Cas, it’s perfectly safe.” You tried to reason while throwing some candy into the cart and looking through various brands of lollipops to see which once you should get. You decided to just grab all of the bags. Once you were happy you got everything you needed and ran to the register and bought everything. You left with a happy smile on your face and a very concerned angel.
“Don’t worry, Sam and Dean are on a job so they won’t know how much candy I have until I’ve already eaten everything!” You said while jumped a bit and the two of you walked to the motel. Castiel was currently on babysitting duty for you and you were a bit upset but the boys really didn’t want you going up to stranger’s houses and getting candy from them, especially not after this once Halloween they had.
“Why do you need all of this?” Castiel asked while moving his head to the side and you shrugged. “Why not, am I right or not?” You asked and he nodded, obviously unsure of what to do. You plopped down on the bed and opened up the first thing of candy and took a small Kit Kat bar and bit into it. You slowly made your way through the bag and once you were full you pushed it aside and drank some strawberry soda you happened to pick up.
“Are you done?” Castiel asked and you nod before dozing off. You ended up waking up with a horrible stomach ache and looked over at Castiel in the other bed, sitting and watching some TV show. “Cas.” You call out meekly and he looked over at you. “Y/N, are you okay?” Castiel asked while getting up. “You shake your head and let out a small whine. “I ate too much.” You mumbled.
“I told you not to get that much.” Castiel said and you nodded. “I know but I couldn’t help myself.” You said with a small frown and Castiel sighed as he sat next to you, the sudden shift making you go a bit green. “Can you bring me a trash can?” You ask and Castiel looks confused. “Why do you need that, I already threw away the wrappers?” Castiel said and you frowned. Damn angel still wasn’t used to human things, even after all this time.
“I need it or else I’m going to ruin these sheets.” You muttered as you felt something come up. The trashcan was handed to you and you got rid of the candy you just ate. After you finished Castiel handed you a glass of water that you happily rinsed your mouth with.
“Thank you Cas.” You said, feeling a lot better now. You looked at the candy, tempted to dig in again and Castiel noticed this since suddenly the candy was gone. “No more.” He said and you let out a pout before he looked around awkwardly. “You should sleep, it’s three in the morning.” Castiel said and you nodded.
“Castiel?” You asked him and he nodded. “Cuddle with me.” You said while holding out your arms in a childish way and he looked at you before nodding. “Why do you wish to…cuddle?” He asked you and you shrugged. “I like cuddling and you’re soft and warm.” You said and in the back of your mind a small person was whispering something about love.
Castiel obliged anyway and covered the two of you with a blanket and you got closer to his chest. You felt a small kiss on your forehead and blushed. “Are you okay, did I do something wrong. I saw people in a show doing that when they…cuddled.” Castiel said and you giggled. “Yes it’s fine, I loved it by the way.” You said. “Night Cas.” You said and he looked down at you. “Goodnight Y/N, I’ll watch over you. Now sleep.” Castiel said and you felt like your eyelids had lead on them and you slowly closed them.
