“This could only mean he’s involved…” Dean hissed and you looked over confused. “And who are you talking about now?” You asked, curiously of course. “The trickster.” Sam explained, “That’s right, you weren’t hunting with us when we first ran into him.” Sam suddenly realized.
“Ya, I thought that was obvious.” You said with a frown. “Okay but didn’t we gank him?” Dean asked and Sam shrugged. “I thought we did…maybe we didn’t do it right?” He tried to reason. “How could we mess up with that?” Dean asked with a frown.
“I don’t know, this who apocalypse thing is doing weird things I guess.” Sam sighed and you just looked between the two boys. “Well obviously you messed up or else he wouldn’t be here, now would he?” You asked them as if they were dumb and they both just scowled in your direction.
“Fine, so how do we locate him?” Dean asked Sam and he shrugged. “We got lucky last time Dean, I have no clue on where to start searching.” Sam said and you nodded. You guys ended up going to a local pastry shop since they had remembered he had a sweet tooth. “Really, we’re going to hang around a sweet’s shop in hopes he’ll just pop in?” You asked the boy.
“Fine, you stay here and order yourself something nice while we search other places.” Dean said then he quickly described what the guy would look like. “Wait that doesn’t help.” You tried to say but it was too late, they already left.
You scowled while looking down at the table. Those Winchesters were amazing and all but they had a knack and underestimating you. Sure they didn’t want to see you hurt so they tended to give you the easier jobs, but it wasn’t like you were defenseless. Just a bit younger then them was all.
Another sigh escaped your lips before you got u and ordered (Favorite Pastry) and sat back down, taking a small bite. You were seated in the very corner of the shop and you were facing the door. You eyes trailed down to your plate and when they looked back up you almost choked on your pastry.
A man stood there, fairly handsome, but that wasn’t the thing that shocked you. It was the large wings on his back that were speckled with gold. It was amazing to look at although they seemed to be tucked away so they wouldn’t hit anything. You looked around the shop at the few other people and they didn’t seem to notice.
“How the living fuck do you miss that?’ You thought to yourself as you continued staring at the man and realized his features were the same as the Winchesters had described them. ‘They could’ve just told me he had freaking angel wings sprouting from his back and I would’ve known.’ You thought bitterly as you saw him start to leave.
You quickly shot up and started to stalk the man. It was a bit fun, hiding behind poles and trees as you silently followed. Sadly you didn’t realize you had followed him into an alleyway until he disappeared and you felt breath on the nap of your neck.
“Hello darling, and who may you be?” A cocky voice spoke into your ear, making you spin around and jump backwards a bit. “Why should I tell you?” You asked while glaring daggers at him.
“Well you have been following me around for about an hour now. Not to mention I saw you with the Winchesters earlier. Oh I know how about I leave you hear so I can ditch town before they find me.” The trickster suddenly said and your eyes got wide.
“That’s it? You’ve been killing people and now expect me to let you go?” You asked with a raised eyebrow. “Yes, I mean the Winchesters obviously didn’t expect you to run into me so you don’t know how to kill me so…I’ll just leave now.” He said with a small snap and turned around to leave.
“Wait!” You said with a stern voice. “Something you need?” He asked and you nodded. “I’ll let you go and not tell the Winchesters on one condition.” You said while crossing your arms. “And the condition?” He asked. “I want to touch your wings.” You said while pointing to them.
His eyes widened considerably before he walked over to you. “You can see my wings?” He asked and you furrowed your eyebrows in confusion. “Who couldn’t?” You asked him. “Fine you can touch them, but you can’t tell the Winchesters you even saw me, okay?” He said and you nodded.
He unfolded the wings and you let your hands trail over them. They were soft, how you’d imagine a cloud would feel like if you didn’t know the scientific facts about them. You kept brushing your hand along until you noticed him looking over at you. “All done, sweetheart?” He teased and your cheeks flushed red.
“Erm, ya I guess.” You said while taking your hands away. “Also one last thing that will be a secret between the two of us, okay?” He said while folding his wings back up. “What is it?” You asked. “My name is Gabriel. Just thought I’d let you know for the next time we meet in private. Goodbye now.” He said and with a snap he was gone, leaving you in a daze. ‘I guess I’ll see him next time…’ you thought before leaving the alley. Time to find the boys and tell them to pack their things.
