Uriel sat on the steps, not moving. The joint in his hand burned away as he stared at the newcomer. He recognised the face and the voice but a part of him didn't want to believe he was actually here. He knew that he and his brothers had wanted this man here but now that he was it seemed like a bad idea. Damien had always been a bit...unstable. About a thousand years ago-Earth time of course, merely ten years in Damien's own world-this man had become the host for a very powerful Dissonant One named Rayith. The result had been...rocky. Damien's new found power had sent him into something of a spiral, writing his own code of morality and punishing those he saw fit to. When an unstable teenage boy is suddenly given powers that include the ability to create suns in the palm of his hand anything can happen. Thankfully things had ended well...kind of.

Damien shielded his eyes against the bright sun, seeming to adjust to standing on two legs. Uriel guessed he'd spent a lot of his time in space recently. He did that a lot; favouring the peace and quiet. Uriel got to his feet and took a long draw of his joint.

"Michael," He called out. "Paul...Eden...Thor...anyone?"

The door pushed open and Thoth, Thor, Michael, Gabriel, Eden and Paul stepped out onto the balcony. Senor Quackington was perched on Michaels head; he was clearly missing Jared. They all stopped short when they saw Damien standing there smiling up at them

Gabriel took a step forward, his lower lip quivering ever so slightly. "Damien," He said. "I take it your sister was able to contact you?"

Damien's smile disappeared and he took a step forward. The angels stepped back. "My sister? You've heard from Emily?"

Gabriel licked his bottom lip, unsure how to proceed. He turned to Uriel who shook his head. "I haven't even passed on the message yet," Uriel said, relighting his joint.

"My sister is here?" Damien asked, his tone excited. "I haven't seen her since...well." He didn't finish his sentence.

Gabriel took a step forward. "She is in this Earth's version of Brisbane...I think. You should be able to find her easy enough but...I'm curious...if she didn't contact you, how did you know we wished to see you?"

Damien shook his head. He seemed distracted by something scurrying around in the leaves near his feet. "I felt a kind of...pull. I feel one of Rayith's brothers is coming here."

Michael shifted uncomfortably. "It is as we feared then," He said to Gabriel. "It is time." He turned to Paul. "Tell Eden to start releasing Azrael's barrier. We need to get Jared and the others back. We can't wait any longer."

Gabriel turned on him. "What about the Unmortal?"

Michael huffed. "If Damien has been drawn here then he should be following soon. His kind are drawn to Dissonance."

As if on cue, a tearing sound echoed behind Damien. The trees behind him distorted and the world seemed to fold in on itself. A man, hooded and cloaked, appeared. He stepped forward, acknowledging Damien with nothing more than a nod.

He pointed at Gabriel. "You," He said. "You reek of divinity."

Gabriel took in the man's appearance. He looked to be from a different time. Maybe a different earth's version of London. His long cloak appeared to be Victorian but was lined by the elaborate markings of a different Earth's design. This was the Unmortal they had wanted.

"You're Robert Kelly, aren't you?" Thoth asked, his voice never changing from it's serene tone.

The hooded man nodded. "I was sent here by a friend. I sense a great evil is coming."

Gabriel nodded. "You have come to the right place. We will be gathering the rest of our allies soon."

The hooded man seemed he was about to reply when a crackling sound to the left drew everyone's attention. Bolts of lightning crackled and the air began to distort, like a great heat was gathering in one place. A final bolt struck the ground and a man appeared, crouching in the leaves. The midday sun glimmered on what appeared to be metal. He wobbled to and fro, catching his balance.
