It's been a few weeks since the last time I and Jacob went hunting together, it's kind of been boring since then. I feel like he's lost interest in hanging out with me, or he's probably busy. As I was about to go up the stairs, I heard a knock at the door. Who must be here, its probably Jacob, I hope so.

"Oh hi, I didn't know you were coming over", It's Joseph.

"Sorry to come unannounced, but I needed to talk to you about your baptism and confession. We already have a date for it, we were planning to do it today. If you need to reschedule that's fine."

" Oh no, we can do it today. I'm actually not doing anything today, when and where exactly is it"

" I or one of my brothers will pick you up. Here wear this tonight" He handed me a white box, and I opened it. It was a white short dress, that had lace on the bottom of it.

" Oh thanks, um when are one of you going to pick me up"

"Around 6 or 7, I will see you then" as he was walking to the porch stairs, I stopped him.

"Um I have a question, Jacob and I are kind of "friends" if you even call it that, he hasn't come over for a few weeks, we were supposed to go hunting again. I was just wondering why he hasn't come over, or even called me"

" My brother Jacob has been busy lately, I will try and get in touch with him. But he has a big job for this project, he's been training his solider to try and protect us. So he can't really "hang out" right now. But I'll still talk to him."

"Oh ok, thanks again for the dress"

" Yes, your welcome. I will see you at the baptism." As he walked away, I shut the door and went up stairs to get ready.

Jacobs Pov

Knock

" Come in" Still looking down at my work. I looked up, Joseph was standing in the doorway.

"Brother I have a question to ask you"

" Go ahead" I looked up from my work to see my brother walk in with a serious but weird look on his face.

"Did you take Ashley hunting"

" Yes, why are you asking this"

" I went to go see her today, about the baptism. She asked me about you guys going hunting again, she seemed worried about you. And i even think she may fancy you, Brother"

" Well you can tell her i've been busy, and i doubt that she "fancys" me, Brother"

"Why would you doubt that she like you, she seems like a nice girl. That would be perfect for you to have a girl like that"

" Well if she does like me, nothing is going to happen between us. She's to young and not my type. Sweet and weak is what i want, tough and strong is."

" Poor girl, if you rejected her she's get depressed, she's to young for that kind of life. If she does fancy you, why don't you just play it like you like her back" I then looked at Joseph again, " And why would i do that"

" Treat it like a favor for me, just atleast try it out. And maybe you would start to like her, but if not then you could just tell her your not intersted" As i was thinking aboutit one of the peggies came in.

" Father, john is asking for you at his bunker."

" I'll be right out, thank you" The peggie walked out of the room and he looked back at me.

" Please brother, just do this for me" i sighed and gave my answer.

" Fine, but if it doesn't work out don't blame me for her broken heart" Joseph gave me a happy look, and when he started to walk out of the room he turned back to say something.

"Another thing brother, no sins in this realtionship"

" No promises, brother" I began to chuckle and lean back in my chair.

"Brother im serious" He gave me a stern look.

" I was just joking joseph, calm down"

"bye brother" He walked out of the office, and i sat back up in my chair to get back to work.

"This is going to be tough" i sighed out

Back to Ashleys Pov

The baptism is going to so awakard just me and the seed family, even though i kind of asked for a private baptism.

Knock

Oh their here, i kind of hope it's Jacob i haven't seeb him in a long time.

" Hello Ashley" John was standing on the porch wearing him normal outfit he always wears. I wish it was Jacob instead.

" Oh, Hi John" i haven't seen him in a long time, ever since that one sermon. When i was jealous of Holly, but now i want Jacob instead.

Someone that my mom wouldn't aprove of, ever since she meet him that first time. And that the time i didn't like him, but now he's so different.

" You ready for the baptism" slight smirk on his face

" Yes, but im also kind of nervous as well, and Jacobs gonna be there right" I started to blush because i was so not smooth in that situtuion. John noticed i blushed a the sound of Jacobs name.

" Yes, Jacobs going to be there, why do you have a little crush on him" John started to smirk a little more knowing that i did. I looked down at my shoes and kicked at the porch wood.

"No....i dont like him" Blushing a little bit more, i was just so nervous in that situtuion kind of feeling judge.

" Why do i feel like your lying, you know lying is a sin"

" Im not lying, i dont like him. Lets just go" i brushed past him, but i felt his arm grab my bicep. I looked up to see him crocked his eyebrow at me, knowing im lying.

" You know you can tell me anthing, im the baptist you know. You don't have to be embrassed you know, Jacob is a great person, sweatheart" I pulled my arm from his hand and started to walk towards his car to the back seat.

" Lets just go or we wil be late, you will figure it out when my conffesion comes around"

He walked to the car and got it and we were off to the river.

I've already started to make the next chapter, I'll try and get it up this week for the people who are actually enjoying the story. Next chapter gonna kind of be bloody, and a little bit for of here backstory.
