she wouldn't talk.
she wouldn't sleep.
she wouldn't eat.
occasionally, salty beads would run down her face, she wouldn't be bothered by them. her eyes were fixed on the side fo the bus, they didn't move.
Maggie and Finneas were worried about her, but nothing seemed to help. she had become ill, with a fever, her cheeks always burning a bright red, and her hair uncombed.
what broke her more, was watching Billie go about her life as if nothing was wrong, Billie had meant everything to Rory and at this moment in time, Rory believed she meant nothing to Billie.
she blamed herself.
she blamed herself for not telling someone about Eli earlier. she blamed herself for letting down her walls, for letting people in. she blamed herself for putting herself in a situation where people could leave her. she felt more than alone, she felt as if she was being suffocated by her own presence.
