KIM & RON'S NEW YORK HOTEL ROOM

The hours passed, and the Possible/Stoppable Team had left the Bugle after their exclusive interview with J. Jonah Jameson. They hoped that Wade had come through for them and arranged for a better hotel room, or just a better hotel in general. Thankfully, he did. Their new hotel was very contemporary, with well-maintained rooms and exceptional amenities. Their new room was more spacious than the shack they were in before, with a queen-size bed at the center and a mini bar filled with different snack and drink options.

"Hey, Wade. Loving the new hotel. Any update on the Spider-Man intel?" Kim answered her Kimmunicator as she was looking out the window.

"Nothing besides the countless news articles that have been printed about him" Wade answered. "Speaking of which, how was the interview?"

"Okay, I guess" she responded unsurely, clearly alluding that she had a few problems with it. "It's not necessarily something I'd want to do again."

"No kidding" Ron said behind her, snacking on some chips on the bed of their hotel room. "That Jameson guy has some serious angst against Spidey. It's like he couldn't shut-up about him."

"Any chance arachnophobia has anything to do with it" Kim joked about it to the two boys, smirking in delight.

"Unlikely" Wade commented, "but he does seem to be the only one with a grudge against him."

"I'm listening" Kim said, sensing some justification for his reasoning. "Every other paper in the city covers events the web-slinger's involved in."

"And they call him a Hero, right?" Ron cut-in, coming up over Kim's shoulder to watch the screen on the Kimmunicator. Kim flinched at his sudden appearance, followed by a disturbed expression on her face at his suddenness.

"They really don't take a side on whether he's a hero or not. They just give the story of what happened" Wade explained, shooting down another chance for Ron to get his happiness.
"But get this, in most of these stories, one police officer has been a regular witness to Spider-Man's actions."

"You're saying this police officer might have a better idea of who Spider-Man is?" Kim questioned. "Exactly!"

"Any chance you can set up a meeting" Kim inquired.

"Just give me a few seconds..." Wade said as he did his keyboard magic. It took him a few seconds, and with a firm click of the mouse, "All set, you're scheduled to meet tomorrow evening."

"Great work, Wade!" Kim complimented her tech wizard. "Talk to ya later." The small screen on her device went to black and Kim turned to Ron, who had resumed to snacking with Rufus. "You ready?" she asked him.

Ron froze at this, unsure what she could possibly be referring to. He and Rufus looked to each other in confusion, hoping one would have an answer. When it became clear that neither had one, Ron gave in to asking, "Ready for what?"

"For bed" Kim answered. "I don't know about you, but today did a real number on me. I'm ready to turn in for the night."

"Oh, okay. Whatever you need KP" Ron said simply, not really giving it much thought.

Kim walked over to her suitcase, searching for some clothes to wear to sleep. When she found something, she took a deep, silent breath and shifted her eyes to the side, mentally thinking of Ron before she took a chance at what she was going to do.

"Uh..." she stuttered, "do you... do you mind if I- um..." She gestured up and down her body, giving him a sense of what she was about to do.

"Huh? Oh! Uhhhh... yeah sure. You do what you need to" he answered, feeling perplexed by what she was asking.
