Kim was just saying goodbye to the girls that had approached her when Ron and Peter came walking up. Her eyes went curious at the sight of Peter accompanying Ron. "Ron" she asked, "what's Peter Parker doing here?"

Peter's face when hot, as he felt like she didn't want him around during the mission or something. Or maybe it was the fact that the two girls that were just talking to Kim were Sally and Liz. Their smiles of excitement had now turned into sour frowns as he shared space with them.

"Look KP" Ron preached, "the poor guy is in a dark place. Full of sadness and broken hearts.

"Really?" Kim directed to Peter. "Uh... not really" Peter answered nervously, but slightly bitter about Ron dragging him up to Kim.

"Ah, you see Kim?!" Ron burst out. "The guy is in major denial!"

This guy is not helping... at all, Peter thought to himself in agony. "Yeah... " Kim sneered, "Ron, we have a mission to take care of. So, if you keep this up, the Seniors will undoubtably notice us and we will have lost Mr. Kingsley."

Kingsley. As in Roderick Kingsley. The guy who lost out on the Rhino Armor specs.

"Now, let Peter go!" Kim exclaimed. However, Peter was now highly interested. "uh, actually, did you say Kingsley, like Roderick Kingsley."

"Yeah", "Yes", Kim and Ron each said.

"Well, do you guys mind if I stick around?" Peter asked rather anxiously. Kim and Ron eyed each other and Parker with confusion. "If you'd like' Kim answered nervously, "mind if we know why?"

"Well, a few months ago, me and a reporter for the Bugle investigated a private auction that hailed a gang war." Kim suddenly had a different understanding of the young boy's reasonings. "Kingsley was part of it and paid the highest bid. Though we have no lead as to why he would be involved."

"So, you want to listen in for any evidence" Ron concluded.

"Yeah, it would make Jolly Jonah happy after getting the original story." Suddenly, the radio started screeching and wavering. In the midst of buzzing, a smooth-Latin voice soon was broadcast. Kim knew that was Senor Senior Sr. speaking. She quickly agreed to Peter listening in and all three of them gathered around the speaker.

"So, Kingsley, how's business?" Senor Senior spoke. "Have you been able to perfect the compound?"

A deep chuckle came in from his side. "Almost... we're experiencing a few roadblocks in a few of our products, but were close." This voice sounded familiar to Peter, which gave Kim and Ron the hint that this was Kingsley's voice.

"If you don't mind me asking Father" Junior cut in, "but what exactly is the perfected compound supposed to do?"

"Oh, Junior" his father hummed, "I am so proud that you are now so interested in our family hobby. But I must admit, I too am curious of it's purpose."

"Oh... well, it's meant to increase the scent of our products. Thereby making the wearer more attractive."

"Hey, maybe we can get a sample for lover boy here" Ron commented while laughing. Kim and Peter shh-ed him at the same time, waiting for more to come of the villains' conversation.

"Oh! I must have this product. I must!" Junior gleefully cheered. "It may be my ticket to achieving my dream of being a teen pop-star."

Ok, weird. Peter thought to himself from hearing such a bizarre goal being spoken by a man with a voice that seemed very pre-Madonna. "I must have it!" Junior continued.
