A steady sun rises over Manhattan for a new day, while Kim rest peacefully in the bed of her hotel suite. She rustles a bit, initiating her awakening. At first, she feels blissful, as if nothing is wrong and it's just a start to a new day. However, that feeling is soon snuffed out when she feels for Ron next to her, and to find that he is not there. She turns over, and sees what she had felt, an empty space of the couch where her best friend and boyfriend should be.  She groans in frustration that her hopes having a cute moment were seeming impossible. Sinking into the bed, she thought about what it could be that is making him not wanting to share a compassionate moment. She thinks maybe he's not ready for that sort of thing, or maybe she's trying to force things to happen just because they have an opportunity to do it without their friends and family to judge.

On the other hand, he has continuously been caught up with everything Spider-Man related ever since they got on the plane. And even though they initially came out to do that exclusive for the Daily Bugle, it seems that Spider-Man has been his entire goal and interest since he was brought up. And when a new threat and mission came around, it doesn't appear that he's in complete focus of that either. Kim k ew that Ron always followed the beating of his own heart, but all this ignorance from him made her feel insignificant to him during this trip.

In a fit of boredom and lonely thoughts, she turns on the T.V. set to a local news station. Hopefully T.V. will take my mind off things. She thought, scrolling through the channels and getting comfortable again in the sheets. The T.V. anchor begins to report on the previous day's events on the beach. They report that there were no serious casualties and that police are currently investigating the strange disappearance of Roderick Kingsley and the sudden reappearance of the criminal known as Sandman. "According to eye-witnesses, world famous teen crime fighter Kim Possible, and her sidekick, Ron Stoppable, were at the seen taking on the beach behemoth before Spider-Man came swinging onto the scene" the anchor reported. "It seems the young heroes are making quite a presence in the city this week, as they were in town this week sharing the stories of their many adventures with the folks over at the Daily Bugle. You can read their exclusive story in this morning's edition. To our brave young sleuths, New York welcomes you!" Kim smiled, making her content that the city's residents are appreciative of her being among them during rough times.

Suddenly, the suite door burst open, with Ron running in with great enthusiasm. "Kim!" he shouted, "You made the front page!" Kim looked up to him smiling, "I know, Ron. The T.V. beat you to it. Where were you?"

"Oh, y'know just raiding the snack stand in the lobby" he answered, showing a plastic bag filled with snacks.

"Of course, you were" she replied, "Let me see the paper!" Ron sat down and they both looked at the front page. In big bold letters, the headline wrote, "THEY HAVE DONE EVERYTHING", and a photo of them was attached below it. To their surprise, it was a photo taken from the fight on the beach. "Whoa! "How did they get a picture of that?" Kim asked.

"Check the byline" Ron suggested, and Kim looked to the little print underlining the photo. "Photographed by Peter Parker! Well that explains it. At least we know he's okay."

"The dude is completely awesome. Just think he gets to go around and take pictures of awesome stuff like this. And he's awesome at it. I mean, look how much focus he puts on us, the angle he chooses, the... " Ron suddenly stops to think.

"What?" Kim asks curiously. Ron replies with a boyish smile, "Why don't we have a photographer?"

"Ron, are you kidding?!" Kim exclaims in humorous disbelief. Ron continued to egg her on for a private photographer. "Oh, c'mon KP? Having a photographer would be a great way to get your hero's image out there, and this pic by Parker is just the start of it."
