I'll Never Be Your Mate

chapter 1

"How did all these whole things happened? Why didn't you tell-"Sarah snapped before I cut her off. Whenever she is angry, she asks questions relentless. "Wait! Give me a break, will you? I also don't know about this. I'm on my way to my dad's office. I'll let you know what happen there. Ok?" I asked. She agree and hang up. Both Sarah and Stella are angry with me for that thing.

Sarah and Stella are my best friends since we were five years old. We first met when there was a pack meeting. In each country every neighbourhood packs had to join to have meeting whenever there is something important. Sarah's, Stella's and mine's pack are neighbours. So as we are the three packs in California, the three pack combined together to have meeting. As ours fathers are alpha, they are also friends. Sarah, Stella and I went to the same kinder garden, elementary school, junior school and high school. We had been always together. We had fight on both small and big things but we were again together. We tell one another everything. Secret is not in our vocabulary. Anyone can't separate us, we are friends forever.

Now I'll tell you why they were angry with me. Actually everyone in the world know about that thing. It is passing everywhere on the radio and the thing is that, "we got the news that Ashley Adamson, the daughter of the tycoon businessman Mr Aiden Adamson, will marry to Jake Efron, the son of the tycoon businessman Ethan Efron and the up coming CEO of Efron Ltd Companies."

If I think so, I never heard about this Jake guy. I can't blame myself as I don't like to watch news. Stella and Sarah are angry with me because I didn't tell them first and personally. Even I don't know about it. When I heard about it like people say, my blood was boiling. I was so angry. I couldn't believe that my dad did that to me. He knew I waited for my mate for ages then, why he did that to me. My wolf is also riled to my father. Since I'm on my way to the office, I'll know the reason soon.

After I pulled over in front of the large building, I got out of my favourite red Mercedes convertible and I walked in the building. As I passed by the employers, I was being greeted but I didn't have the time to greet them back. When I took the lift to go on the last floor, I get the feeling that something will happen that I have been waiting for. As soon as I arrived in the hall, I feel joy when, here I should be angry.

What is happening to me? Why am I feeling like today is the happiest day of my life.

Suddenly I felt myself walking in the direction of the meeting room like I'm being pulled there. My wolf also don't know what is happening. When I looked at the door I felt myself shiver with delight. I have never felt like this before. When all of a sudden, both of us took realisation and said at the same time "mate". My wolf howled with joy.

I was so happy that I will finally meet my mate after these years of waiting. I pushed the door and wanna hug whoever he is.

But I froze to see him and a girl's big mouths together. He is kissing a girl. Looking at them feel like there is a heavy weight on my chest. It was like a thousand daggers went through my heart. I wanted to vomit. I know its hurt deep down. It turns out to be the opposite of what I thought. He didn't wait for me as I did. After all of these years of expectation...

Tears moistened my eyes threaten to fall down but I hold myself in. I was about to leave when suddenly I saw him flinch and he opened his blue eyes. Ours's eyes meet and he became pale like he has seen a ghost. He froze like a statue. He reminded me of statue of liberty in that pose he was. I think he already knows who I am to him. My eyes travel to his mouth and it was frozen like its master while the girl, continues moving her dirty mouth over his. I recognized the girl as an employee here. 

My "so called mate" recovered quick and acted like nothing happened. Rage boiling inside ones chest that I didn't think what I am saying. "It's an office not a love hotel, where whenever you want you make out or have sex" I snapped.

As soon as the girl heard my voice, she straightened up in fright. She looked down as she knew who I am. Everyone in the office know that I'm the boss and the alpha's daughter and as I said before most of the people in the country are werewolves. Head bent down, she said "I'm sorry, that will never happen again." She picked her coat which was down and went straight to the door. She opened the door and turned, "by the way darling, I'd enjoyed this, we might catch up next time" she said with a slow smile.

I turned to my mate on hearing his voice. He had a smirk playing on his lips " I'll see if I can make an exception for a beauty like you." the girl gave him a flying kiss and left. I gasped at what I am watching. I should have understood by now that my mate is a womanizer and that girl maybe one of her sluts. 

I hate my fate more.

I turned back to my mate, he was learning to the table in the room and smiling widely at me.

"Why did you push her outside? I just started enjoying myself" He said smirking.

His smirk was getting on my nerve, I wanted to remove that bloody smirk off his face.

"As I said before this is an office. You can go fuck your sluts everywhere but not here" I said showing him that I'm not affected by his show.

"Oh I know you are jealous you wanna be in that girl place. I know you want me. Who can't resist me? "

"Don't be so cocky. I think only idiots can't resist jerks like you" I couldn't believe that he is also full of himself.

 Well, I don't blame him. He is very attractive and handsome. He had an oval -shape face, thick straight brown hair that are well cut and end before his neck. His blue eyes flicker with amusement and a certain fear as I stared at him. He has a straight and narrow nose with strong cheekbone and defined jawline. His full and kissable lips are in a smirk as usual. I rolled my eyes internally at that. Looking by far, I already knew he is three inches taller than me and his v-shaped black t-shirt and pair of denim jean show perfectly his strong and firm legs and muscular shoulders.

I can't imagine what his strong arms around me along with his muscular legs tangle with mine will make me feel.  His strong musky scent is also amazing. Its smell like sandalwood, the most strong and pleasant smell of the forest. Any girl can fall for him even me but I will not. I prefer to stay single than to be with him. Not after what I discovered.

"I guess you have finished checking me out. Am I sexy?" he asked showing a cheesy smile.

Why do I've got a mate like this? The different from the sweet, gentle and caring mate that I had thought. 

"Hell no!" I shouted. I turned my back to him and slammed the door.

I knew it already that my life will change as from now.
