"Guardians, your previous orders, of ensuring the safety of the non-guardians among us still holds true. We all know that Rose can defend and protect herself. But until we know what is going on stick to your previous orders."
This time all the guardians in the group nodded.
"I will meet our new arrivals on the plane, where I will tell them to disembark and wait for me near the stairs. I will tell them that I need to speak to the pilot. Which will give them some time to talk about whatever it is that they are going to talk about. I have name tags that I am going to attach to the shirts of the new arrivals. While doing so I will drop a transmitter, that Ms. Sage has been kind enough to build for us, into the pocket of the first new guardian that I come into contact with. Sydney has also built a receiver into a burner phone. That way it will not look suspicious to the new arrivals when they look towards all of you to see you all occupied with the phone. For all they will know, you will be watching some of those silly cat attacking a CHRISTmas tree videos. Now, any questions?"
No one said anything.
"All right everyone, let's load up and move out."
Forty-five minutes later we pulled into the private airstrip that we'd landed at ourselves just a few days earlier.
This time we had rented four SUV's and Roza another red stretch hummer. She, Alberta and I were the only ones to ever ride in the back of the hummers. While four of her guardians road in the front two sets of seats.
The hummer, from Rome, had been returned three days before we left. Since it wouldn't be needed anymore because Roza and I weren't leaving our hotel room.
When we had all gotten out of the cars at the airstrip, we all took up a stance next to the hummer. A few minutes later we saw a private plane about to land. It wasn't Roza's, because hers was hidden in the hanger. So, it must be one of the court jets that transported guardians to their new assignments.

"All right everyone, get ready."
As soon as the plane came to a stop, I walked over and readied myself to do my duty and protect my little Rose. Although she could protect herself physically, it was mentally and emotionally that I worried most about her.
I knew that if anything happened to anyone in our party that she would never be able to forgive or live with herself. Especially if something happened to Dimitri, she definitely would not be able to live through that again. There was no doubt in my mind whatsoever about that. So, for her sanity, he had to be kept just as safe as she did.
When the steps were lowered I boarded the plane.
"Good afternoon everyone. I am the head guardian here, Alberta Petrova. Unless otherwise instructed, you are to address me as Guardian Petrova. Now, as I call your names please come up here so that I can place your name tags. You are to wear these for the rest of the day, hopefully by then everyone will know who you are. Is this all understood?"
"Yes." They all answered.
"Guardian Petrova, may I ask who our assignment is?" Interrupted one of the new arrivals.
"What is your name?"
"Reginald Whitley, Reggie to my friends and lady friends."
'Oh, hell another playboy, just what we need. If he even attempts to flirt with Rose Dimitri will kill him.' I thought to myself.
"Well, Guardian Whitley, no you may not ask what your assignment is. Now, since you saw fit to interrupt me with unimportant matters, you are to be first in line."
