Chapter Eleven: Story

Third Person's POV

"Do you want to hear a story, Nini?"

"I'll listen." Jennie said

They are walking in the seashore, fingers intertwined.

"There is a girl who has everything, that's what everyone thought little they didn't know... there were two things that she doesn't have.. her dignity and the only person she ever loved, her child." Lisa took a deep breath "She lost her dignity when a group of bastards decided to took it, she was rape."

Jennie gasped "Oh my god."

"After the nightmare happened to her life, a new hope came to her life. She got pregnant with one of her rapists but she was happy to have that little angel in her life. Her life came back to normal until it crashed again. Her father wants to send the little angel to the orphanage, the girl refused and runaway and met an accident. She lost her child in that accident. She lost everything."

They reached a bench and sat on it.

"She started from nothing, she refused to accept the money from her father, she worked hard, started a small business until she reached where she is now. The owner of Venus hotel. Named after her daughter, Venus Manoban."

"Lisa..." Jennie is crying "You're..." she covered her mouth to prevent a sob "I'm so sorry."

Lisa pulled Jennie in a hug "You said that you want to know me more, better to start it with my past." She kissed Jennie's head while the latter was sobbing against her chest "I'm a lonely person, Jen. I'm so used to being alone not until I saw that night."

"You have us now, Lili. Me, Gab, and my family.." she released herself from Lisa's hug "We are family now."

Lisa lovingly caressed Jennie's cheek "Thank you."

"Lili..." Jennie closed her eyes, holding Lisa's hand on her face

When she opened her eyes, Lisa's face was only inches away from hers.

"Can... I kiss you, Nini?" Lisa looked at Jennie's eyes with full of sincerity

Jennie just nodded with a smile on her lips.

Slowly, Lisa leaned in and captured Jennie's lips with hers.

Their lips moved in sync, so soft and delicate.

Lisa was the one who pulled away "Let's go? While I still have the self-control not to pin you..."

"Ugh! You're ruining the moment! Run while you still can! I'll skin you alive!" The kitten said, threatening her companion

Lisa nervously chuckled, slowly she stood up and walked backward "I was just kidding, Nini."

"Run, Lisa!" Jennie stood up and chased Lisa

Lisa run for her life "Nini! I'm sorry!"

"Say that to your pervert self, Lisa!" Jennie shouted

Lisa and Jennie laughed and continued to run around the beach, not minding the weird stares from the people around them.

"Good evening, Miss."

The receptionist plastered a flirty smile at Lisa "Good evening, Ma'am. Do you have a reservation?"

"Yes, reservation for Lalisa Manoban."

Jennie glared at the receptionist.

'She looks like a poop, does she know that?'

"Baby, I'm starving." Jennie clung her hand in Lisa's arm "Let's eat."

Lisa sensed why Jennie is acting that way. Her Nini is jealous.

"Okay, BABY." Lisa emphasized the endearment

Jennie smirked at the receptionist "Can you accompany me and my girlfriend to our table?"

The receptionist wants to glare at the kitten but she can't.

"So, baby..."

"Don't start with me, Lisa." Jennie warned Lisa

"What? You're the one who called me baby first!" Lisa said before eating a cut of beef steak

"Yeah because you're enjoying flirting with the receptionist." Jennie rolled her eyes on Lisa

Lisa snickered "You were just jealous." she whispered

Before can say something for herself, her phone rang.

She fetched her phone from her purse.

"It's Kai." She informed her companion

"Give it to me." Lisa demanded

An idea popped into Jennie's mind.

'Payback.'

She pressed the green button and said "Hello, Kai." in a flirty way

Jennie intentionally pressed the speaker button for Lisa to hear what Kai will say.

"Hey, Jen. Look, I'm sorry. I regret everything I did. Can we talk tomorrow? Just us?"

"Sure..."

Lisa snatched the phone from Jennie's hand "Sorry my girlfriend is with me to have time for you. Better stay away from her if you don't want to mess with the wrong person." Lisa sternly said and ended the call

"Lisa! What was that for?" Jennie acted mad but she's celebrating inside because her plan worked

"So you're going to meet your ex? You'll agree to meet him in front of me?" Lisa is mad, most certainly disappointed at Jennie

"I..." Jennie laughed "I was just messing with you. Of course, I won't meet that cheater again."

Lisa sighed "Nini... He cheated on you?"

Jennie bites her lower lip "He.." she sighed, there is no way to lie anymore "Yeah. He cheated on me with a college friend. Look, Lisa, don't tell my family about this, most especially to V, he has a heart problem, if he finds out about this.. he will kill Kai and it won't be good to his heart."

"Wait... V has a heart problem?" Lisa can't take all the information that Jennie is feeding her

"Is it hard to absorb all the information?" Jennie slightly smiled

Lisa shrugged "Kinda but at least I'm learning things not only about you but to your fam also."

"So... girlfriend huh?" Jennie teased "Did I say yes to you already?"

Lisa groaned "Nini!"

Jennie laughed "We're even now."
