Chapter Sixteen: Tzuyu

Jennie's POV

The week nearly comes to an end and I can't wait to prepare for Gab's birthday party.

We've already moved to a spacious place which made all my employees glad.

"Coffee?" Lisa entered my new office with two cups of coffee in her hands

"Thank you, babe." I smiled at her warmly "Done with your work?"

She scoffed "You call that work?" She set my coffee over my table

My mouth watered on the inviting aroma of the coffee.

I glared at her as she sat in front of my desk "You and your boastfulness."

She laughed gracefully "I was just kidding. Yeah, I've already checked all the deliveries, everything's good."

Lisa has been doing great being my secretary for five days now. I was thinking to keep her for the position but she's a fucking CEO.

"What time the applicants will come?" She asked

"Around 10, I hope they will come on time. It's a big no-no if they are late. If they can't come on time for their interview what more if she started to work for me?"

Lisa nodded "You have a point." She said before sipping on her coffee

"By the way, how's your new secretary?"

V's new school year started just this week and luckily Lisa found a replacement for him one week prior.

"Momo is a fast learner. I've already told and taught her everything before I filed my leave. Mom said that Momo is doing good in her job."

I was listening to her the whole time while sipping on my coffee.
Coffee really makes me relax my nerves but I have to lessen my intake of this, acid sucks.

"I hope I can find someone like your new secretary." I sighed "Gab's doing great in school. She always got stars for her works." I informed her

I'm glad because we're not having a hard time pushing Gab to go to school. She's enjoying it while learning.

"That was great. She's smart like her mommies."

"That's why she deserves to have this party that we're throwing for her."

Suddenly a knock on the door interrupted our conversation.

"Hey."

"Aren't you suppose to be in school?"

V kissed our cheek before sitting across Lisa.

"I have an early dismissal." V had on the face like he has something to tell me

"What it is, V? I know that look."

"I didn't know that Lisa is here but I'm going to say it anyway." V took a deep breath "I think I need to undergo the surgery sooner, noona."

My heart beats faster. This is the thing that I am scared of the most.

"Are you feeling something in your chest? Why didn't you tell me more earlier?"
