Chapter Nine: Talk

Third Person's Pov

After their dinner, they prepared themself for bed.

"What is that?" Jennie frowned at the comforter that Lisa is holding

"Uh, comforter?"

Jennie facepalmed "I know what is that, Lili."

"Then why are you asking me?"

Jennie groaned at Lisa's obliviousness "What I mean is.. why are you holding that?"

"Where do you want me to sleep? In the couch?"

Jennie stopped herself from smacking Lisa's head "You're our guest, Lisa. We can share my bed."

Lisa bite her bottom lip "I-I can't."

Jennie frowned "Why?"

She looked at Jennie from head to toe "With that sexy sleeping lingerie of yours? I don't think I can stop myself from.."

Lisa didn't finish her sentence when a slipper landed on her face.

"Pervert!" Jennie stormed to her room

Lisa sighed and spread the comforter on the floor.

"Mommy.." Gab walked out of her room, eyes were half asleep "Why your face is red?"

"Why are you still awake, baby?" Lisa dismissed the question of the kid, ashamed where it came from

"Can I sleep next to you?"

"Of course."

"That pervert!" Jennie sat on her bed "Pervert."

She went to her closet and changed from lingerie to comfortable PJs.

"I bought that lingerie to impress you and that's what I get?" Jennie continued to talk to herself "Ugh! Manoban!"

She slowly opened the door and peeked her head out, there she saw Lisa and Gab sleeping soundly.

"They really look like mother and daughter." Jisoo suddenly said, she's holding a glass of water for her wife

Jennie looked at her while they are standing not far away from the two "Indeed, eonni. Lisa earned Gab's trust and love so fast, unlike when I dated Kai. He had a hard time getting Gab's attention."

"It is because Gab saw that you're happy with Lisa."

"But I was happy with Kai."

"Jennie, you know that the feelings you had with Kai are completely different from what you have with Lisa."

Because Lisa is gentle and makes me feel like I am the most important person in her life.

"Nini.." Lisa woke up "What are you two doing there?"

"Join your girlfriend and your daughter." Jisoo slightly pushed Jennie

"Aish." Jennie complained

Jisoo smiled at Lisa before she went back to their room.

"Nini, why did you change your clothes?"

Jennie glared at her "Because there is someone who can't control their hormones."

Lisa chuckled "I'm sorry. You can't blame me, okay? Join us here, maybe we can talk about things now."

Jennie lies down next to Gab. Their daughter is in between them.

"Are you sure about me, Lili?" Jennie asked, looking not at Lisa but the ceiling

Lisa is doing the same "Yes, Nini."

"Why? I mean.. why me? There is no special about me. You can court someone rich, beautiful, and..."

Lisa cut her off "It's you because my heart says it's you. Do I need to have other reasons for me to like you? I think I'm falling for you, Nini. I never felt this to other girls. This feeling of giddiness when you're around, the longing when you're not with me, the butterflies when I see your cat eyes, and the unexplainable feeling when I'm hugging you. I don't need to have other reasons because the feelings are enough and I am one hundred percent sure that they will never fade. Don't say that there is no special about you... you're special in every single way you do. Please believe me when I say that I will take care of you and Gab."

"Lili.." Jennie breathes out "Let's give this a try. I want to give this a try also but let me know you better."

"Look at them, they are so cute."

"Shh. You might wake them up."

"Wait, I'll take a picture of them."

The Kim family was happy to see the new family hugging each other, sleeping soundly.

The three woke up to the sound of a baby crying.

"Shh. Nathan, are you hungry again?" Rośe is carrying their son "Let's get you a milk." She excused herself

"Good morning, Manoban Family." Jisoo smiled at them

Jennie and Lisa sat in unison while Gab went back to sleep.

They got up and greeted each of the family good mornings.
Jennie carried the sleeping Gab back to her room.

"Are you free later? Can I take you on a date?" Lisa asked while they are folding the comforters and blankets

"I'll go to my boutique this morning then I'm free for the rest of the day."

"Is it a yes?" Lisa plastered her bunny smile

"Yes." Jennie giggled seeing Lisa's smile

"Where is mommy Lisa?"

"Mommy Lisa went home already." Jennie carried her daughter "Mommy will go to work now, you behave okay?"

Gab yawned "I'm always behaving good, mommy. I had a great sleep last night."

"It's because your mommy Jennie joined you and mommy Lisa last night." Rośe said while carrying Nathan

"Really?"

"Yes. Come here, let me show the picture of the three of you hugging each other." V said to his niece

Jennie put Gab down "What picture?"

"He took a picture of you while sleeping." Mrs. Kim answered, "You'll be late for work, go now."

"V, drive me to boutique, bring my car back here, Lisa and I will go out after work."

"Sure, noona."

Jennie tossed the keys to V and bid her goodbye to everyone.

"You're happy."

Jennie looked at V "Yeah, very much happy."

V nodded "I'm happy for you too, noona. Lisa and Rośe unnie made my noonas happy. Thanks to them."

Jennie just smiled then her phone rang, Lisa is calling.

"Lili."

"Nini, I'm on my way, can you send me the address of your boutique?"

"Sure. I'll text it to you. Drive safe." Then she ended the call and texted the address to Lisa

"How's your business going, noona?"

"To be honest? There is no improvement. I need to find new ways to advertise my designs."

"I'll make an advertisement online to help you, noona."

"Thank you, V. Noona really needs help."

"No worries, noona. Go now, I'll just park the car."

Jennie got out of the car without knowing that someone is waiting for her.
