Chapter Twenty-four: Found

Third Person's POV

"Jen, wake up. We're here." Lisa kissed her girlfriend to wake her up

The adorable kitten slowly opened her eyes.

"Let's go?" Lisa asked, smiling at Jennie

"Yeah but before that." Jennie pulled Lisa's nape and kissed her lips sensually

"Wh... what was that for?" Lisa asked in surprised by the sudden action of her girlfriend

"I just want to kiss my girlfriend, is there anything wrong with that?" Jennie asked innocently

Lisa chuckled "You're..." she looked outside the car "Can we just go?"

Jennie saw the frustration in Lisa's eyes. She left her girlfriend high and dry again.

Lisa got out first then opened the door for Jennie.

"I must say that your family is so rich." Jennie voiced, looking at the modern house in front of them

"You can say that." Lisa grabbed Jennie's hand "Ready?"

Jennie took a deep breath before saying "Never been ready like this in my entire life."

While they are walking toward the house, Lisa remembered her phone.

"Babe, I'll be right back, I'll just get my phone."

Jennie nodded "Sure. Make it quick."

Jennie knocked on the door.

"Coming!" Someone shouted from inside the house

"Oh god! That's definitely Hanbin." Jennie voiced

Moments later, someone opened the door and it was no other than Hanbin Kim.

"Brother!" Jennie hugged her brother tightly "We found you!"

"Jen..." Hanbin slightly pushed Jennie away from him "What are you doing here?"

"We're looking for you!" Jennie's eyes watered with tears "I missed you."

Hanbin smiled, tears of joy trickled down to his face "I miss you too, Jenjen. You're all grown up now." He patted Jennie's head

"I'm with someone." Jennie brushed her tears off

"I told you not to tell anyone about me." Hanbin scolded

"She needs to know where you are. She was the one who actually helped me to find you."

"Hi." Lisa appeared behind Jennie

"I... god! Jennie, why did you bring her here? Did you know who is she?" Hanbin asked in horror "Fuck."

"Relax, brother. Lisa came here in peace. She's not mad at you." Jennie tried to calm her brother "Listen, okay?"

"How... how can I calm? Jen, I might go to jail because of..."

"I'm not going to sue you if you'll give me the answers I need." Lisa calmly said, "Maybe it's better if we discuss this inside."

"Lisa, right?" Hanbin asked, who is now calm

"Yes, Jennie's girlfriend." Lisa properly introduced herself, offering her hand while they are sitting on the sofa across from each other

"Girlfriend? Ow, now I understand why you're with Jennie." He shook hands with Lisa "I'm really sorry for what we've done to you, Lisa."

"I want to be mad but it won't help me to heal and I don't want my relationship with Jennie to be affected by it, all I need now is the truth."

Hanbin gulped loudly "Wh... what truth?"

"Where are your friends? Where is Jin? What happened to them?"

"I... I can't tell you." Hanbin bowed his head "I'm sorry."

"What? Why? I'm not going to tell anyone about this. Am I right that my father has something to do with their or your disappearance?"

Hanbin remained silent. Then moments later, the couple heard sobs coming from the person in front of them.

"I sell my friends to your father. Your father was evil." Hanbin cried "He... killed my friends."

"I knew it!" Lisa got up "Tell me what he did to them!"

"I don't know! All I know is that your father killed them and... they burned the bodies. I was afraid for my life! Your father wants to kill me too but when I gave him information about my friends, he let go of me and locked me here in Jeju. He also threatened my family if I'll let the family of my friends know that I'm alive. I love my family so much and I will do everything to keep them safe."

"Fuck." Lisa cursed "He's evil!" She shouted

Jennie stood next to her and rubbed her hand against Lisa's back to calm her "Calm down, babe."

Lisa closed her eyes and breathed in and out.

"Don't let your emotions take over." Jennie advised

Hanbin saw the love that Jennie have for Lisa. He can't help but feel guilty for once causing a nightmare to Lisa's life.

Lisa hugged Jennie "What should I do, babe? My conscience will eat me."

"You did nothing wrong to them, babe. It was them who wronged you and it was your father who did that to them." Jennie pulled away from the hug

"But.."

"Jennie is right, Lisa. You did nothing wrong and your father did that to avenge you. He loves you so much, Lisa. I witnessed how furious he was to us, he cared and loved you so much."

"But I don't want him to do that! Killing people is evil! If he wants to avenge me, he should have just sued them to the police."

They are interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Shit." Hanbin murmured

"You're expecting someone?" Lisa asked Hanbin, frowning "Who is that?"

"I'll get it." Hanbin got up and opened the door

"Who's car is that?" The visitor asked the moment Hanbin opened the door "Are you with someone? I told you not to let anyone in."

"Mr. Chu." Lisa acknowledged the visitor "Just what I expected."

"Li...Lisa." He looked at her then back to Hanbin "Why did you let her in?" He closed the door

"She's with my sister." He gestured to Jennie "I thought it was you who was knocking." He explained

"He told us everything, Mr. Chu." Lisa informed the older man

"I'm so sorry, Mr. Chu, Lisa deserves to know everything. It was the least I can do for her." Hanbin explained again

Mr. Chu sighed "What more I can do? What you learned should remain as a secret, Lisa." He massaged his temples "We have a problem."

The three looked at each other, waiting for Mr. Chu to continue.

"Someone is still looking for your friends and he got some leads from the club where you... you know.. got Lisa."

"Who is it, Mr. Chu? I thought they already stopped the investigation?" Hanbin asked, afraid of what will happen next

"This person is conducting his own investigation, he already found out that Lisa has something to do with the disappearance of your friends. His name is... Kim Jongin."
