Chapter Thirty-Six: Forgive me

TP's POV

Weeks passed, V is now back to his suite room, Mr. Chu's family was successfully saved, Mr. Chu is finally back to the Manoban's side and the great Kim Jongin is furiously mad seeing the one and only Lalisa Manoban, interrupting their meeting.

"Why I am not invited to my company's meeting?"

"I'm sorry but you got the wrong building, Ms. Manoban. This is Kim Inc. and as the CEO of this company I want you to get the hell out of my face before I call my security." Kai pointed his index finger to the door "Get out!"

Lisa remained calm, she intertwined her hand with Jennie and slowly approached Kai who is standing in front of the board of members "I believe I got the correct building." She smiled at the members "Good day, everyone. You know me already, I am Lalisa Manoban, daughter of Marco Manoban, owner of Venus Hotel but now I want to introduce myself to you as the new owner, new CEO of Kim Inc."

Everyone whispers, asking each other what is happening then a loud laugh interrupted them all.

"You.. you have already gone crazy." Kai laughed again "This woman is crazy."

Jennie tightened her grip on Lisa's hand.

"It's okay, babe." Lisa whispered, she then cleared her throat "May I call Mr. Kim to explain everything to you."

Then an old man, the father of Kai walked in with papers in his hand.

"Good day. I want everyone to calm down and listen to me." Mr. Kim announced, he walked in front with Lisa, Jennie, and Kai "The Kim Inc. is now owned by Ms. Lalisa Manoban and Ms. Jennie Kim."

"What?! Father, what are you talking about? This is my company! Did you gone insane too?!" Kai protested "This is my company! I am the Kim Inc!"

Mr. Kim calmly handed the papers to his son "I'm sorry, son. I sold Kim Inc. to Ms. Manoban years ago. Those are the papers proving and stating that Ms. Manoban and Ms. Kim are the owners of Kim Inc. now."

"No! No! No! This is not happening! This is not true! How did you able to pass the company to me if you sold it to her years ago?!" Kai shouted, looking at the papers in his hands

"It will just take effect if Ms. Manoban and Ms. Kim will sign those papers. The company's success these past years was because of the help of the Manoban group of companies. I'm so sorry, son."

"If that's the case, there will be no papers to sign." He then tore the papers into pieces

"You are really a moron." Lisa insulted Kai in front of everyone

"What did you just call me?!" Kai was about to attack Lisa but Mr. Kim stopped him

"I called you moron." Lisa challenged "I own this company now." She set her own copies of the papers on the table "Can I borrow your pen, Mr. Kim?"

Mr. Kim gave his expensive pen to Lisa.

Lisa clicked the golden pen and signed the papers "Your turn, babe." She smirked at Kai before giving the pen to Jennie

Jennie signed the papers next to Lisa's signature "Done, babe."

"Board of members, I would like to present to you, the new CEO of Kim Inc., Ms. Manoban, and Ms. Kim."

"Father, you can't do this to me! This!" He pointed at Lisa "This woman's father killed my brother! Mr. Manoban killed Jin!"

"Mr. Kim, I think your son needs to see a psychiatrist, he's delusional." Lisa chuckled while shaking her head "The meeting is over. You are all dismissed." She clapped her hands "and oh, Kai? Someone is waiting for you outside."

Kai gritted his teeth in anger "First, your father took the life of my brother, second, you took Jennie from me and now you're taking my company! What else, Lisa?! What else do you want?!"

The board of members started to walk out from the meeting room.

"To be honest, I feel sorry, Kai. I'm deeply sorry. Let's say that maybe.. just maybe my father really killed your brother, where is your evidence? Is there any? Because if my father is still alive and I have evidence against him, I will sue him despite what your brother did to me. Do you even know what your brother did to me?!" Lisa shouted her last sentence, slowly walked in front of Kai "Your brother fucking raped me! He's a pig! He's the brain of my nightmare. I know you are mad, furious about what happened to your brother but you, we can't do anything about that! He's gone and so was my father! Move on! Life doesn't stop here, pasts and nightmares are meant to be forgotten, you need to learn from them. Don't let that wrath of past destroy you." She said while looking at Kai's eyes "The police are waiting for you outside, I think you already know why."

But before Kai can react, the police are already inside.

"Mr. Kim Jongin, you are under arrest for kidnapping Mrs. Chu and her children. You have the right to remain silent and everything you'll say will use against you in court. You have your freedom to get your lawyer." A cop handcuffed Kai's hands from behind

"Father, help me." Kai begged, "I did that to know what really happened to Jin."

"I know, Kai but Lisa is right. We need to move on, son. Wherever Jin is right now, I know he's thankful for the love you have for him, let's just accept the fact that he's not coming back." A tear dropped from Mr. Kim's eyes "You are only I have now and I will do everything to get you out of the jail, legally."

Kai hung his head down, tears streaming down from his eyes "Forgive me, father. I let my anger control me. Forgive me."

"So, everything is over. V is fine and Kai is already in jail. We can breathe freely now."

"I know, babe. Tomorrow is a new start for us." Lisa kissed Jennie's lips "I can't get enough of your lips."

The couple is back at Kim's house in Seoul. They are currently in the kitchen, Jennie sitting on the top of the kitchen counter while Lisa is standing in between her legs.

Jennie wrapped her arms around Lisa's neck and pulled her closer to her "Why don't you just kiss me?"

Before Lisa's lips can reach Jennie's someone spoke "I know you two are in love but you two are in the kitchen, if you want to continue that you go to your room because I will get something to eat for me and my wife." Jisoo spoke

The couple groaned.

"Stop interrupting them, hon." Chaeng walked in too, Nathan in her arms "You should get this baby boy some milk too."

Lisa stepped back from Jennie and the latter got down from the counter.

"I will call mom to ask for some updates regarding V. You coming with me?" Jennie asked her girlfriend

"Nah, I'll stay here. I'll wait for Jisoo's food, I'm hungry."

Jennie nodded and went to her room.

"How is the preparation for tomorrow's event?" 

Lisa looked at Chaeng "Perfect. Everything is set. The 'Yes' of Jennie is the only thing that is missing."
