Lisa's POV

Today is Gab's birthday. Jennie really made sure that everything is perfect for our daughter's party. Jennie indeed is the best mom.

Me and my mom are now on our way to Venus Hotel function hall where the party is.

When we arrived, everyone was already there, I think we're slightly late.

When Jennie saw us, she immediately smiled and went to us.

"Hello, babe." She kissed my lips for a brief second "Hello, mom." She hugged mom

Mom was the one who pulled from the hug "Where is the birthday, girl?"

"She's with the other kids, do you want me to call her?"

"No, it's okay."

Jennie nodded her head "Let's sit? Mom's waiting for your arrival."

Everyone is enjoying the party. The theme that Gab requested is beautifully decorated which is a unicorn.

I spotted Gab playing with the other kids. My heart is overwhelmed with so much joy seeing her laughing and enjoying her own party.

"Lisa and Adeline are here." Jennie announced to her family who is sitting at a round table

After greeting everyone, we sat and talked to them. After minutes of conversion with them, Gab approached our table.

"Mommy! You're here!"

I sat her on my lap and hugged her "Happy birthday, Gab."

"Thank you, mommy. I'm happy because you are all here for me." She kissed my cheeks

This kid is the sweetest.

My mom cleared her throat "May I have my grandchild's attention?"

Gab cutely giggled "My attention is all yours, mama."

"Happy birthday, baby."

I looked at my mom's eyes. They were shining because of Gab's smile.

"Thank you, mama."

But when I turned my attention to my girlfriend, her eyes are shining with tears.

"What's the matter, Jen?" Jisoo asked, concerned about her youngest sister

"Are you alright? Is there something wrong?" I asked in concern while smoothly rubbing my hand against her back

"I just feel so blissful and happy because of the love you're giving to my daughter." She brushed the tears off her face "Thank you and sorry for being so emotional."

"Of course we love this little angel." I patted Gab's head "She gives happiness to us and she deserves all the love we're giving to her."

"Mom, I can't understand." Gab voiced "Why are you crying when you're happy? You should be smiling, right?" She innocently asked

We all laughed at her innocence.

"It's called tears of joy, Gab." Jennie answered

"Tears of joy? I still don't get it but okay, as long as you're happy, mommy." She reached for Jennie's face and kissed her on the cheek "I love you, mommy. Thank you for giving this party to me. I'm so so so happy."

Another shed of tears trickled down from Jennie's eyes "I love you too, Gab."

Jennie's POV

The party was nearly perfect. Why nearly? It is because someone decided to show up without giving him an invitation.

I was on my way to the comfort room when I spotted Kai entering the function hall.
Automatically, I made my way to him and pulled him out, forgetting my urge to pee.
