Third Person's POV

"It's been seven years and you still can't find my brother." ??? shouted on the person in front of him

"I'm so sorry sir but we can't find any evidence that will lead us to where are your brother and his friends." The man politely answered, afraid of his boss "All the CCTV records were erased and we can't find the car of your brother."

"Get out of my sight! Go back to your work and don't come back here unless you have your new lead." He shooed his man

'Seven years. Seven years and we still can't find you, brother. We don't even know you're still alive but I'll not stop until I find you.'

??? took the old newspaper from his desk.
'Five men mysteriously disappeared' was the headline of the newspaper.

"Where is mommy Lisa, mom? Is she not gonna sleep here tonight?" Gab asked while Jennie is dressing her up for bed

"Your mama Adeline needs your mommy Lisa tonight. Do you want me to sleep beside you, tonight?"

"I want to, mommy."

Jennie finished dressing her daughter "Can mommy have the heart to heart talk with you?" She sat Gab on her unicorn designed bed

"Did I do something bad, mommy?" Gab's little voice was afraid "I promise I didn't do anything to make you mad."

She gently smiled while crouching in front of her child "You didn't anything bad, baby. You're a nice girl. Mommy needs to discuss something."

"I'm all ears, I'm listening." Gab suddenly acted like an adult again that made her mom amused

"Okay, so this is about Kai." Jennie waited for her daughter's reaction

"What about daddy Kai?"

"About you calling him dad."

"But he's my daddy, right?"

Yes, Gab may act like an adult sometimes but she's still a kid and innocent about this kind of stuff.

"He was your daddy, Gab. We broke up already, right? So it means that he's not your daddy anymore." Jennie explained, "You need to stop calling him daddy especially when your mommy Lisa is around."

"Why, mommy? Doesn't she like daddy Kai?"

"It's not like that, Gab. Kai is my ex-boyfriend and your mommy Lisa is my girlfriend now, what do you think mommy Lisa will feel if you still call my ex your daddy?"

"She will feel hurt." Gab pouted "Does it mean that I hurt mommy Lisa when I called daddy Kai at my birthday party?"

"Yes, Gab. Mommy Lisa was hurt."

"Is she mad at me, mom? Tell her that I won't call sir Kai daddy again. I don't want mommy Lisa to be mad at me. I love mommy Lisa."

Jennie shook her head "Mommy Lisa is not mad at you. She loves you so much and she can't be mad at you. Can you do that for me and mommy Lisa? Can you stop calling Kai your daddy?"

"Yes, mommy. I won't call him daddy again." She wrapped her arms around her mom's neck "I love you, mommy."

"I love you too, Gab." Jennie said wrapping her arms around Gab's torso "One more thing, Gab." Jennie brightly smiled at Gab "Your mommy Lisa asked me to move to her house."

Gab frowned "You're going to leave me here with grandma?"

Jennie laughed "Of course not. Mommy just want to know if you agree to move into mommy Lisa's house?"

"I want to, mom! Yehey!" Gab celebrated

The next morning, Gab woke up early, planning something for Lisa.

"Mommy! Wake up! Wake up! Let's cook something for mommy Lisa before I go to school." Gab said while shaking Jennie

Jennie groaned "It's too early, Gab. Let mommy sleep." She said, still eyes closed

"But I want to cook something for mommy, Lisa." Gab wants to cry being rejected by her own mom

Jennie sensed the urge to cry from Gab's voice "Alright. Wait for me on the couch, we'll make something special for your mommy Lisa."

Gab jumped up and down "Yehey!" She then walked out of her mother's room and went to the living room

Though Jennie is still sleepy, she forced herself out of her warm bed and dragged herself to her comfort room.
After doing her usual routine, she walked out of her room. Glancing at the wall clock, it's only five in the morning.
Her mom is already awake and talking to Gab in the living room.

"Good morning, mom." Jennie kissed her mom's cheek

"Good morning. You going to work today?"

"Nah, Lisa and I will go shopping. I need time away from work just for today." Jennie explained

"I think Gab wants you two to cook for Lisa. I'll prepare Gab's uniform while you two are cooking." Mrs. Kim excused herself

Jennie and Gab teamed up to make Lisa happy. They cooked kimchi fried rice and many kinds of dishes.

Lisa arrived and everyone was waiting for her arrival because their little angel Gab doesn't want them to eat without her mommy Lisa.

"Hmm!" Lisa tasted the soup that they made "You really cooked this, Gab?"

"You liked it, mom? Mommy and I cooked that for you."

"I loved it, Gab. All the foods are great." Lisa said in full of enthusiasm

"You heard that, mom? Mommy Lisa loved the food we cooked!"

Jennie sweetly laughed at how her daughter reacted "I heard it, sweetie."

Jennie noticed something about her mom. Like she wants to say something so she decided to talk to her after they drive Gab to school.

~~

"Have you talked to Gab about moving into my house?"

"Yeah, she agreed but I think we'll have a problem."

They went inside the mall.

"What it is? You said Gab agreed."

"Yeah but I think mom will disagree. I think Gab already said the news to her and I noticed that she's looking at me now and then during breakfast."

Lisa intertwined their fingers together "If your mom will disagree let's respect that. I'm not rushing you to move. If she needs time to cope with the thought of you two moving to my house then so be it. Your mom is playing a big role in your and Gab's life, I'm not here to ruin that."

Jennie pulled Lisa inside a boutique for children.

"Thank you, babe. I really appreciate that. You are so understanding, that's why I love you."

"I love you too, babe."
