...
Max had the tight wetsuit on because the strong winds churned up the seafloor. The swirling sand acted like sandpaper on his skin.
It wasn't so bad for his students. The hour they would spend would fill their swimsuit and every crease of their body, it would be uncomfortable, but it wouldn't damage them.
One of the local boys didn't show for his lesson. Max waited in the water for ten minutes before realizing that he could end his day an hour early.
Niichi helped him get the suit off.
Max was kind enough to wear a speedo underneath so that the innocent lad wouldn't be exposed to his bits.
He was on the floor of the shop and coaching... "Pull! Nong, pull!"
Success was had and the suit was tossed outside and onto the back deck.
Niichi blushed and handed him a towel on a fully outstretched arm. "P', you're dripping."
Max squeezed most of the water from his hair. He used the towel to brush off the sand. It fell to the floor and added to what was already there.
"Nong'Niichi, Nong'Ori didn't show for his lesson. Would you mind if I left early today?"
"Are you leaving right now P'?" Niichi tucked his legs together. "I have to pee."
"No Nong, I'm going to rinse my suit out first, and some of the guys messed up my polishing station so I have to fix that." Max pointed with his thumb at the side of the building.
"Go ahead. I'll stay here and watch things."
Niichi started to run through to the restaurant. Max called to him: "Take your time!"
Max's little helper turned around at the doorway. "P', check your phone. It was ringing a minute ago."
Niichi passed a pretty young girl and her boyfriend as he exited. They bought drinks, sunscreen, and a Kata Beach pin, that she promptly put on her beach bag. Max thanked them and followed them out. He sat on the step and read a message that had come only minutes ago. He watched the attached short video that was sent.
...
He was tucking his shirt when he returned. Niichi took it upon himself, the good schoolboy that he is, and chose to dress quite nicely every day. Considering it was a surf-shack and frequented by countless half-naked people, this was not something Max required or requested.
He was slightly alarmed when he saw Max jump up, panicked. "Nong, I have to go."
"Ah, ok P'."
