Aviva POV

After I got to my room I broke down. I put my back against the wall and slid to the floor. I put my head in my hands and cried silently for what felt like hours.

I decided to change into my night clothes and get in bed. I didn't eat. I didn't want to face anyone until morning. I covered my head with my blankets. It wasn't even late but I was exhausted. I cried myself to sleep in mere minutes.

Third person POV

It was around 1 in the morning when Aviva woke up. She had no idea but Finny, Bard, Mey-rin, and even Sebastian had come to check on her. She was passed out when they each came in.

Finny came to check in first. Bard came in next, with some dinner for her. When Mey-rin came in it was cold, so she got her a second blanket. When Mey-rin was bathing before bed, Sebastian came to ask if she wanted tea and to check her wounds and finish bandaging them.

Aviva sat up and checked the time. She didn't feel like going back to sleep. She got out of bed and wrapped her blanket around herself. She checked her appearance in the mirror and was a bit taken back.

Her eyes were still red and more swollen than before. She noticed the bandages and touched them. She winced in pain and looked away.

She put on her slippers and quietly left her room. The manor was much more quiet at night, certainly more creepy. After wandering the halls, Aviva decided to go to the library. She did really love libraries.

She lit the fireplace and grabbed A Midsummer's Night Dream. She sat in front of the fireplace and smiled at the book. She happily opened it up to read. After act 2 Aviva became sleepy. After a few scenes, she fell asleep, right there in front of the fire.

Sunrise came, and so did the time for the servants to wake. Mey-rin woke to find Aviva gone and she panicked. She quickly changed and ran to find Sebastian. She told him what was happening and the two ran to find Bard and Finny, to see if they've seen her.

They too became worried and started to run through the halls, checking every room. Their searching woke Ciel.

"What on earth is going on here?!" He demanded, stepping into the hall.

"Aviva's gone, she is!" Mey-rin said. "We can't find her anywhere master!" Added Finny. "What do we do?" Asked Bard, Tanaka appearing next to him.

"Even you, Tanaka?!" Ciel said looking at the old man. "Ho..ho..ho." Tanaka added.

"Very well. Get back to looking for her!" He commanded. "She can't have gotten far." He said to himself. "Sebastian!" He called for his butler.

"Yes my young lord?" He said with his hand over his chest.

"Find her. Now!" Ciel demanded.

"Yes, my young master." He said before walking off.

Everyone had gone in separate directions to find the missing maid. Sebastian and Bard ran into each other in the kitchen.

"What was your reasoning for checking here?" Sebastian asked the chef.

"Well she didn't eat dinner last night so I thought she'd come to get something to eat. Or a cup of tea at least." Baldroy told Sebastian. Since she wasn't there so Sebastian moved on. He quickly made his way to the stables. He thought she might have gone for another ride. He was actually surprised to see she hadn't gone there. He growled in frustration and went back into the manor. He met all the servants in the main hall.

"Nothing?" Sebastian asked. Finny, Bard, and Mey-rin shook their heads in defeat. "And you, Tanaka?" He said looking down at the old man.

"Ho..." He said sadly. Sebastian sighed and looked at the four of them.

"Well? Get back to looking!" He sternly. They all scurried off. Then it struck him. Sebastian ran to the library, faster than he should have. If anyone was around him it would become very questionable if he was a human.

He burst the doors to the library open. The fire had died to mere embers. He approached the figure on the floor. He was relieved to find her. She was still fast asleep. But the soot and cinders had made it onto her face.

He wrapped her blanket around her and picked her up bridal style. He brought her back to her room and put her back in bed. He looked at her and sighed in relief.

"I thought we almost lost you there, Miss Aviva." He said to himself before cleaning the ashes off her face. He closed the door and all the servants rushed up to him.

"What is it, Sebastian? Did you find her?" Finny asked hopefully.

"Yes, I did." Everyone sighed in relief. "She had fallen asleep in library. She's back in bed, let her sleep. Everyone please go to your duties. I'll inform the master." He said before walking off.

He went to Ciel's room and knocked. Ciel told him to come in. "So...did you find her?" He asked, sitting at his bed.

"Yes my lord. She is back in her quarters resting." Sebastian said.

"Very well. Go get me breakfast. I'll deal with her later." He said going to his window.

"Yes, my young lord." He said kneeling.
