Aviva POV

After putting all my supplies away and the flowers in my room, I made my way to join Sebastian in the garden. What happened was really weird. Can I sense when Sebastian is near me? I mean...it's pretty strange. Useful, but strange. I made my way outside and exchanged waves with Finny. He's precious. I saw Sebastian and quickly walked over to him.

"Hello Aviva." He said. He said my name, no miss.

"Hi Sebastian!" I said, a little too enthusiastic.

"Come. Walk with me." He said. I nodded and followed him through the garden. After a minute of silence, he spoke up. "In a few days we will all be travelling with young master to Houndsworth." He said. Just saying it gave me chills. "Is everything alright, Miss Aviva?" He asked. Guess he noticed. Damn. Miss. I looked up at him.

"I just...I don't have a good feeling about this trip, Sebastian." I said.

"But I've only just told you about it." He said.

"I know it's just..." I started.

"A feeling." He said, completing my sentence. I nodded. "The town is rumoured to by haunted by a demon hound. We will be staying with a nobleman, Henry Barrymore." He said. I cringed. He looked down at me and stopped walking. I stopped with him. "Why are you making that face?" He asked.

"Henry Barrymore...I don't like him." I said.

"Are you two acquainted with one another?" He asked. I shook my head. "Just a feeling?" He asked. I nodded. "I see." He said.

"Was there another reason you asked me join you here, other than informing me of our trip?" I asked him.

"Yes." He said before walking again. I followed him. "For the duration of our trip to Houndsworth, I would like it if you stayed by my side." Sebastian said.

"Can I ask why?" I said.

"Just a feeling, Aviva." He said smirking. Ok...if you say so Sebastian.

Time Skip

We had all just watched "the bad dog" get sentenced. Finny ran out to stop it. I ran into the ring to stop Finny, but he accidentally hit me with a tree trunk and sent me flying. Angela beat Sebastian to catch me. I looked up at her and she kept flashing between Ash and Angela. I tried to get up and run to Sebastian but she held me back.

"Sebastian!" I cried out to him.

He looked at me, disgusted, then walked away. Fucking broke my heart.

"Sebastian?" I said. He looked back at me then walked away. I quietly cried out.

Angela lunged at Ciel, still holding me. She held him up by the throat. Sebastian just watched. I screamed and tried to free myself from her grasp. She flashed quickly between Ash and Angela again. I kept screaming and tried to get them to let go of Ciel. After a minute she dropped Ciel's lifeless body to the ground. I screamed 'no.' Ash then picked me up by my throat and started choking me. I pulled and clawed at his hand. Gasping and coughing, I  reached for Sebastian. His eyes turned pink and a shadow grew behind him. He smirked devilishly and lunged at me.

I screamed and bolted up. Nightmare. Mey-rin jumped out of bed and and ran to me.

"Aviva what happened?" She asked, very concerned. After a moment of panting, I was able to answer.

"Really bad dreams. Go back to sleep, I'm ok." I said.

"Are you sure? I can go get Sebastian if you'd like, I can." She said.

"I'll be fine." I said. She nodded and got back into bed.

After a few minutes, I made sure Mey-rin was asleep. I put on a dressing gown and my slippers. I have to see Sebastian. I just have to. I quietly left our room and closed the door. I turned around and walk right into Sebastian.

"Sebastian." I said startled.

"Are you alright, Aviva? I heard you scream." He said.

"Nightmare." Was all I said.

"Why are you out of bed?" He asked.

"I...I was going to come find you." I said, sheepishly.

"Why?" He asked.

"I need to talk to you." I told him. He nodded.

"Come. We'll talk in my room." He said before offering his hand.

I took his hand and he lead me to his room. My hands look so small in his. As we got closer and closer, things started to look more familiar. He lead me into his room. I remember it better now. He brought to a tall back chair in front of a small round table. He sat in a matching chair opposite me.

"This is about your nightmare, correct?" He asked. I nodded. "Will you be telling me what you saw, what you learned, or something different entirely?" He asked.

"What I learned and something else." I said. How the fuck is he nailing these questions?

"What did your nightmare tell you?" He asked calmly.

"That going to Houndsworth will not be the most pleasant trip." I said before pausing.

"What else?" He asked.

"Do not trust Lord Barrymore's maid, Angela. Don't trust him either, but especially her." I said. He nodded.

"How do you know her name?" He asked me. I felt myself getting sleepy.

"My dreams haven't been wrong yet Sebastian." I said. He smirked.

"That is true." He said. "What else did you wish to tell me?" He asked. After he asked that I gave a huge yawn. He smiled slightly. "Perhaps it can wait until tomorrow." He said standing up.

"No." I said suddenly, jumping to my feet. "I have to know." I said. I felt my body relaxing and slowing down. "Would you protect me?" I said, kind of slurring my words. I lost my balance and Sebastian quickly caught me.

"Yes." He said without giving it a second thought.

"After Ciel, if something happened would you...you said yes." I said slowly. He said...yes.

"I did." He said.

"If you..." I said before yawning.

"Aviva you must to return to bed." He said. He was practically the only thing keeping me on my feet.

"No! I have to know." I said, my eyelids starting to give out.

"What could you possibly need to know that can't wait until tomorrow?" He said sternly.

"If you had the chance to consume my soul...would you?" I said looking up at him. He looked shocked to say the least.

"Why would ask me such a question?" He asked, very seriously.

"Please...answer me." I begged.

"I'm sorry Aviva." He said softly.

"For what?" I whispered. His eyes turned pink. No!

"Sleep Aviva." He said softly. I tried to fight, but couldn't keep up and fell asleep.

Third Person POV

Sebastian swiftly picked up her now unconscious form. He brought her into his bed and tucked her in. He brought a chair over and sat next to Aviva. Reluctantly he took Aviva's hand is both of his.

"I am sorry to say I do not know if I would consume your soul given the chance." He said quietly. "Your soul is unlike anything I've encountered. Consuming your soul would be so fulfilling. However it is too rare of a soul to lose. Perhaps that is why I am so compelled to keep you close by." He said, running his thumb over Aviva's hand.
