Sebastian POV
I saw Miss Aviva walking to the kitchen, I presume to get the young master's dessert and tea. I quickly caught up her, warranting a small jump from her. I smirked.
"Nice to see you awake, Miss Faye." I said looking down at the maid.
"Thanks for bringing me back to bed, Sebastian." She said looking up at me, smiling.
"You're very welcome, Miss." I said putting my hand my chest. "I though that after yesterday...you would want to rest." I said. She stopped and looked down. She looked upset. "Was I wrong?" I asked turning around to face her.
She nodded. "I am here for a reason, Sebastian." She said before looking up at me. "I am here to serve Ciel Phantomhive and protect him and this manor with my life. If you would allow me to serve our master to my full potential it would be greatly appreciated." She said stoically. That was so bold of her. There certainly is more to her than meets the eye. I put my hand on my chest and bowed.
"Of course..Miss Faye." I said smirking. She thanked me and kept walking towards the kitchen. I watched her walk when suddenly Mey-rin just barely misses running into Aviva and kept running towards me shouting about a letter. I look to my right and notice a gun pointed at the mansion. She tripped, just missing the bullet, and falling on top of me.
Third person POV
Aviva looked back and saw Mey-rin fall on Sebastian and the vase shatter. She started running to the pair on the ground but stopped. An image of Ciel bound by leather belts flashed in her mind.
"Ciel." She said quietly before running to find the young lord. "Young master!" She shouted, hoping he would answer. Nothing. "Dammit. Young lord?!" She kept running. No answer. Now she was starting to panic.
She ran to his study. "Ciel!" She cried bursting the doors open. She gasped and covered her mouth. The room was a mess. Papers, books, and furniture everywhere. The windows were wide open.
"Sebastian!!" She practically screamed. She backed up back into the hallway. He came running with the letter Mey-rin gave him. He slowed down as he got closer.
"Ciel's gone!" She said turning to the demon. She was scared. That image in her head really freaked her out. Sebastian looked in the room then back at the letter.
"So it would seem." He said before handing her the letter. She read it and looked back up at the butler in horror. She took a deep breath, folded the letter, and put it against his chest.
"Watch your back. Find him and bring him home safe." She said looking directly in his crimson eyes, sincerely concerned for him and Ciel.
"I will bring him back safe, Miss Aviva. You have my word." He said before running off.
She watched him until he was out of her sight. She turned to the study and rolled up her sleeves.
"Time to do what I'm here for." She said before going to clean Ciel's study.
