Chapter 17: Lady Elizabeth Ethel Cordelia Midford

Aviva POV

I exited the Undertaker's and stood outside the carriage. Sebastian was next to the door to help me in. I'm not going to lie, Sebastian really scared me in there. He held his hand out to help me in. I reluctantly took it and got inside the carriage. There was a big bag in the carriage with my new uniforms. I stared at the floor, too nervous to look at Ciel or Sebastian. The ride back to the manor was completely silent.

When we got back I didn't even wait for Sebastian to get out. I grabbed the bag and jumped out. I just wanted to go to my room. I ran into the manor but was absolutely shocked at the sight of it. Stuffies, ribbons, hearts everywhere. I dropped my bag...and my jaw. Wait, it couldn't be...Elizabeth!

"My mansion!" I heard behind me. I looked and saw the horrified look on Ciel's face.

"What happened to this place? Why it's a disaster!" I heard from Sebastian.

"Sebastian!!" Mey-rin, Bard, and Finny shouted and ran to the butler. What on Earth are they wearing? I walked further into the hall and spun around, getting a good look at just how much was decorated.

What on Earth is that sound?! Oh my god, it's Grell choking! I looked into the salon to see Grell in bows hanging from the ceiling. Ciel ordered Sebastian to take him down. Then a flash of orange passed me and I saw Elizabeth hugging Ciel for dear life. She looked up. Oh god, she saw me.

"And who is this?!" She squealed and ran to me and grabbed my hands.

"That's my new maid, Aviva." He said. She spun me around.

"Oh, you are just adorable! I have just the thing for you!" She said letting me go. I spun right into Sebastian and he caught me. Elizabeth came back out and grabbed me. She put cat ears on my head and a tail on the back of my skirt. I kept spinning around to try and see the tail. I was getting dizzy and almost fell over but Sebastian caught me, bringing me face-first into his chest. I looked up at him and-oh my god he's blushing. His arm wrapped around my waist. Is it me in the cat get-up? He looked up and saw Tanaka, or as Elizabeth called him: Antoinette.

"I have something for you too!" Elizabeth said running to Sebastian. She put a huge pink bonnet on his head. I turned away from him covering my mouth to stifle my laughter. Mey-rin, Bard, and Finny did the same. Sebastian glared at them and they stopped. I couldn't. So I left the salon and closed the door. I walked over the bag with my uniforms. I burst out laughing and fell to my knees. Elizabeth burst out of the salon dragging Grell by his noose, I'm assuming to dress him up. I picked up my bag and went to my room, laughing.

I looked in the mirror and-hey, I look kinda cute in cat ears. I would take them off but Elizabeth would be very upset if she saw me without them on. I put my uniforms away. Finally, I can work in clothes that actually fit. I took the ears and tail off and I changed into my new uniform. It fit so nicely, I thought it looked good. I put the ears and tail back on and I'm not gonna lie, I was loving this neko maid look! I went to the kitchen to get a late lunch. I walked in saw Sebastian preparing Ciel's tea and snack and Bard was washing dishes.

"Hey, Bard! Hey Sebastian!" I said walking in. I was in a fantastic mood. I made some new friends, I found a kitten, and I looked cute.

"Hey, kid." Bard said briefly looking up from the dishes.

"Hello, Miss Avi-" Sebastian turned to me and stopped mid-sentence when he turned to me.

Sebastian POV

I turned to face Miss Aviva. She's in her new uniform and...cat ears and a tail. I felt my cheeks heat up. I just wanted to pet...I need to focus on getting the young master's tea. I didn't even finish my sentence, I went back to what I was doing.

Aviva POV

He didn't finish his sentence. Do I look bad? I looked down at my uniform. I thought I looked cute. I shook it off, I didn't want to dwell on it. I went to the pantry then the fridge. I just made some tea sandwiches. I sat down to eat then Sebastian left with the tea cart. Ok, fuck I'm dwelling on it. Do I look that bad? He didn't even finish saying my name. Was it the uniform? Was it the ears and tail?

I finished eating then grabbed an apple and went to the stables. I took the ears off and put them in my pocket. I should really nickname the horse I've bonded with.

"I don't know your real name boy." I said petting him. "I'll call you...Ajax." I said smiling. "I had a cat named that growing up." He nudged my hand. "Why do I talk to you?" I said laughing.

"Most likely to get your thoughts out of your mind, Miss Aviva." I heard from behind me and I jumped.

"You must really like sneaking up on me Mister Sebastian." I said going back to pet Ajax. He started to walk up to me. He looked down at me and frowned.

"You took your ears off." He said looking at me. He sounded...almost disappointed.

"Yeah, I...I didn't want to spook him." I said looking up at the butler.

"Well, you might want to put them back on. Lady Elizabeth requests your presence." He said.

"Oh! Ok, let's go." I said. He started to lead me out.

"Wait!" I stopped and ran back to Ajax. "Here." I said handing him the apple before going back to Sebastian and putting my ears back on.

We walked back into the main hall and everyone was there except Ciel. Sebastian went to get Ciel. Grell was in the poofiest pink dress. Mey-rin was helping Lady Elizabeth with her dress. She looked so pretty. Sebastian returned with the young master. He was in the outfit Lady Elizabeth picked out. She was upset he wasn't wearing the ring she got him. She grabbed his ring and kept it away from him. He shouted at her and she threw it down. It shattered. I looked away, I was afraid of what the young master might do. After a minute I looked back and he was wiping away her tears. He asked her to dance and I looked up and Sebastian's had brought out his violin and started playing. Grell joined him and sang. Dang, he can actually sing.

The young master and his fiancé looked so sweet together. I looked up at Sebastian and smiled. I ran over to Finny, grabbed his hands, and spun him around. We danced...well "danced" for a few minutes then I went and pulled Mey-rin to the floor and danced with her for a turn. We just laughed and spun around, dancing like no one was watching. After a few minutes, Bard came up and bowed.

"May I have this dance?" He asked me. I laughed and curtseyed.

"You may." I said taking his hand. He spun me around and we danced. I looked over and Mey-rin and Finny were dancing. I just had the biggest smile plastered on my face. After a while, our dance ended.

We started to clean up after Grell left with Lady Elizabeth. Honestly, that was so much fun. I haven't had fun like than in...well, a very long time. Honestly, I hopped Lady Elizabeth would be back soon. She is a lot to handle, but she really lightens the atmosphere in the manor. That night I got the best night's sleep in a long time.
