Spoilers I guess???
So
SwSh kinda felt like a British BW
They both have two heroes (who kinda look like the OG BW heroes, ngl) who wield Pokémon who choose them as their heroes
And
Both of those Pokémon belong to two people who rule the nation as Kings/Princes
AND
Both of those Pokémon are locked away to await their next hero
The only difference in lore is that the two old heroes came together to protect the region while the BW heroes tore it apart
And arguably the FIRST two heroes of Unova did just that, but their asshole kids kept the whole Truths vs. Ideals thing going
