Mina stared at her phone for several seconds in disbelief. Two weeks without so much as a peep from Jungkook nor Taehyung and Jimin and now he was threatening to show up? Sunny glanced back at her over her shoulder.

"You gonna get that or what?" she asked.

Mina quickly swallowed even though her mouth had gone dry. "Yeah... it's my mom. Can you grab my wallet and get us soda from the vending machine? I should have a few bills in there."

Sunny gave her an odd look but took the wallet without question. The door was barely closed behind her before Mina hit accept.

"You can't come here right now," she blurted out.

"Hello to you too. We're actually parking right now. I just wanted to give you a heads up so you knew to put pants on," Taehyung replied. She could practically hear the smirk in his voice.

"I'm wearing pants, thanks. And who is we? Who did you bring with you?" Her voice rose an octave as she began to panic. Just Taehyung alone might be manageable but with Jimin? She didn't stand a chance. She wouldn't let herself hope that a certain brunette was with him.

He chuckled in response. "Guess you'll see in a minute." The line went dead. Her eyes darted to the window before she groaned. Once had been enough. She wasn't going to throw herself out of it intentionally. At the current rate, she would still be wearing the cast when she went home in a few days for the holidays.

Her heart was slamming against the inside of her ribs. Her blood pressure must have been through the roof. She had just got her friend back...sorta. Things were complicated but she was accepting that her playfull banter with Jungkook was over. Sunny hadn't even asked about him. She hadn't pressed for details. Mina was finally starting to believe that she was there for her and not just the opportunity to meet the idol.

The inner turmoil broke when a quick knock came from her door. She swallowed hard for the second time. She braced her weight on the crutch and took steady steps to the door. She was pulling it open when it flew open and she was snatched forward.

"Poor thing! Look at her! She's so tiny compared to that crutch!"

"And her leg! Would you look at that cast? It's practically swallowing her whole!"

Her eyes widened so far she was afraid they were going to roll from her head. "What the ..."

She was cut off by her face being crushed against someone's chest. "I'm telling you Jimin, we shouldn't let Jungkook near the poor thing. Quick, lock the door and don't let him in. She's clearly fragile. Like a little glass dove."

That seemed to break their scene. Tae released her with a quick pat to her head before he burst into laughter. Jimin braced himself against her door to keep from falling over. There were tears rolling down his cheeks.

"Heya Mina. Good to see you again," Tae regained his composure first.

"In one piece! Told you not to jump out the window," Jimin grinned.

She looked from one to the other. They had pulled their masks off as soon as they had barged into her room. Tae's face was more tan than the last time she had seen him. Jimin had dyed his hair. Her lips pursed for a moment before she rolled her eyes.

"Good to see you both. Glad you stopped by. Really, lovely to see you, now if you'll just," she was stopped from opening the door by Jimin holding his arm out to block it.

"Not so fast little one. We came with a gift. Sorry, we couldn't put a bow on it, he just wouldn't hold still."

"Not that we expected him to but still. He could have at least humored us. So much for manners."
