"Jungkook," Mina frowned at him and shoved harder at the body still standing in front of her. "Move or I'll shove my crutch somewhere you won't like it," she threatened. Her eyes cut towards Mark and dared him to open his mouth.

"So it's true then," Jungkook ran a hand back through his hair. "It's true. Great. Sorry for interrupting your date." His face morphed into disgust while it was Mina's turn to gape at him.

"Date?" she asked.

The car doors slammed shut behind him. Tae and Jimin stopped short beside him and took in the scene.

"Oh cut the shit. He tripped her. He obviously tripped her. Head out of your ass Kook, this isn't a drama," Jimin openly glared at Mark while Tae took a step forward.

"I do believe she asked you to let her go though. So we're going to need you do kindly do so while you still have arms." Tae's smile was friendly but it didn't meet his eyes. He perched both hands on his waist and waited a moment. "As in now," he added.

Mina blinked hard for a moment as she looked between the four men standing there. "Anyone want to tell me what's going on?"

Mark reluctantly took a step back from her and held his hands up. "Easy there. I just didn't want her to wipe out and hit her face on the concrete."

Tae rolled his eyes and closed the distance. He took Mina's arm and pulled her closer to him, away from Mark.

Jimin elbowed Jungkook hard in the ribs and nodded his head towards Mina. "As I said, this isn't a drama. We're not going to stretch this out with you refusing to just tell her what the problem is or what happened. "

Jungkook ran a hand over his side and glared at Jimin but finally broke and turned back to Mina. "I came to surprise you. Well, we did. We got to your family's Inn and Sunny was there. She said you were on a date. After everything you texted me today, I wanted to see you and clear things up." He let out an exhausted breath and waited. She would either confirm it or deny it and he was on edge just waiting to hear what would come out of her mouth.

Mina gave him a blank look. Almost none of what he said made any sense. "I didn't text you. I haven't had my phone. I lost it in my dorm or left it somewhere last night. As for a date," she looked at Mark and scrunched her nose up. "He's a guest at the Inn and we went to school together." It suddenly clicked why he was so familiar to her. "Though, if I remember correctly, he was always hanging around Sunny and trying for her attention. He offered to bring me to get food. That was it."

They stared at each other for several minutes, neither knowing where else to go with the conversation. Mark's phone dinged with an alert of a new message. He sheepishly smiled and took a step back away from everyone to dig it out of his pocket. Tae's hand loosened on Mina but Jimin beat him there.

The moment the phone was unlocked, he plucked it from Mark's hand and started reading. "Looks like I have all the answers we need right here. Sunny, Soonyi, whatever you want to call her, set you both up." He scrolled up through the messages before turning the phone towards Mina. Jungkook stepped in closer and leaned over Tae's shoulder to read along with them.

Soonyi:

Mina read the messages several times before shaking Tae's hand off of her and stepping forward. "You planned this? You brought my parents into some sick game?" Her voice raised with each accusation. "How dare you!" She was fuming.

Mark shook his head and held his hands up again. "I just did what I was told. Honestly!"

Jungkook stepped in front of her to cut her off from reaching Mark. They didn't need the police to be called. "What about these?" He held his own phone out for her to read their conversation. Mina's face went from confused to angry all over again. She hadn't seen any of the messages and certainly hadn't written them.

"Do you honestly think I type like that?" she asked. It was more insulting than anything. "I just don't get why she would go through all of this trouble. I mean, for what? Did she honestly expect you to just rush into her arms and you'd live happily ever after?" She scowled and gently pushed his phone back towards him.

Jimin let out a loud sigh behind them. Tae held out his hand to interrupt. "Allow me. Once again, this is not a drama. Why don't we just, you know, ask her? Confront her with it and then be done. She'll have to own up to it and maybe then you can get the closure you need."

As he finished speaking, Jimin tossed Mark's phone back to him. "We'll be taking Mina home. Though I don't think that'll be an issue now, will it? Don't forget to check out of your room. You won't be staying." He cocked his head to the side with a smile.

Mark was quick to shake his head and retrieve his keys. He didn't speak to them or even look back at them. His car sped out of the parking lot headed in the direction of the Inn.

"What about Sunny?" Mina asked.

"Already texted her to meet me at the Inn," Jungkook replied. It was time to get it over with.
