Decided to switch the POV for old time sake hahaha

☆Anna's POV☆

"Will she remember me from last time?" I ask as I nervously fiddle with my fingers in my lap.

"I'm not sure. But please don't take it too hard." Harry says and he rubs my knee in comfort.

We were visiting my grandmother in the mental hospital. I had come to know the fact that she was alive and well, soon after my surgery. Though, Harry did give me a bit of time to recover from my own condition before telling me. Which had led to me being mad and having several mental breakdowns. But in the end I knew that what he did was for the best. I had requested visiting her and he had agreed instantly. After that, I could visit her every two weeks.

I came to know that she was suffering from amnesia and therefore couldn't remember a thing from her past. And she kept forgetting me everytime I came to visit. The doctors had informed me to tell her that I'm her granddaughter again and again. But she didn't seem to understand. It was fine though. At least I knew that she was well and taken care of.

I and Harry didn't say anything other than that on our whole way there. We got some presents for her as it was Christmas in a couple of days. Checking off at the reception, we got to her room where she was sitting in her favourite chair while talking to her cactus.

"Hey, grandma." I called as I entered the room while Harry followed.

"Mary! Welcome. It's been so long!" Grandma cried in joy.

"It's Anna. How are you feeling?" I asked with a smile.

"Splendid! The weather is beautiful! Look at all the snow!" She cheered. She was quite an uplifting soul.

I remember back when I was a little child she used to take me to Christmas tree shopping and how we would end up eating loads of candy while returning home. She's too old for that now. And so am I.

"We've got gifts for you!" I smile widely and place the gifts on her bed.

She claps her hands happily and gasps.

"What are these for?"

"It's Christmas in a few days." Harry answers for me.

"Do you have your princess yet?" She asked with eyes gleaming.

"Yes. I do." He says and wraps his arm around my shoulder and plants a kiss on my forehead.

"Are you getting married?"

"We have been married for 3 years, grandma." I smile.

"Bee's knees!" She gasps.

"Are you going to open your gifts?" Harry asks. "Ella has a special one for you."

"Who is Ella?"

"She's my daughter. I have two. Ella and Ember. Both are the sweetest little things. She made you a drawing. Wrapped it by herself and all." Harry says and hands her the small roll of paper.

Grandma unwraps the roll to reveal a very crooked drawing of a Christmas tree farm and children playing there. Grandma looks very pleased with the drawing and puts her fragile hand on top of her heart.

"This is beautiful. I'm going to tell Claudia to hand this on my wall!"

"That's so sweet of you." I smile, tears threatening to spill.

"Also, this is from me and Anna." Harry places the gift Infront of her to open it. Her hands shake while trying to open the gift, so she just hands Harry it and asks him to open it for her. She also asks Harry his name since she forgot.

She almost cries in joy when she finds two scarves - one for her and one for her little cactus. She hugs us both and says thank you at least a million times before letting us go.

The car ride back home was quite too. Both of us content with the way the visit turned out. It wasn't always so pleasant. Sometimes grandma wasn't in such a great mood and that ended up with her in hysterics and me bawling my eyes out.

Louis was going to drop the girls home. We hadn't bothered with a nanny since everyone was ready to look after the girls when we were busy. Niall was out touring, so it was Louis who volunteered. He took them to the studio. He was going to drop them off in the evening.

"It was better than you expected, wasn't it?" Harry asks as I face plant myself on the couch.

"Definitely!" I grunt. "It was the holiday spirits."

"Want a drink?"

"Sure."

Harry comes back with two fancy glasses of champagne. I sit up and makes "ooh" sounds before giggling.

"What's the occasion?" I smile and take a sip.

"Nothing. Just, had a good day." He smiles too.

"Oh, how I love you, Styles." I throw my head back and groan.

"I love you, toooo." He drags on.

I lean over and kiss him, already picturing Christmas with the kids and seeing him on tour and just spending time with him. Cause that's what matters in the moment.

***

Not the most interesting chapter, I know. But I just needed to clear things up about her grandma. I had this planned all along. I just didn't know it will be in the second last chapter lol.

That's right.

There's only one chapter left. *makes sobbing sounds*

But don't worry, I'll make a bunch of bonus chapters which will be set like a couple years later? When the girls are teens or something? Who knows.

Also, can't believe this has almost two thousand reads. That's huge for me! I didn't think anyone would be interested in my lame ass story.

So thank you :')

Why am I getting so emotional already? This is not the last chapter dummie! Get over yourself!

Hehheeh bie
