You were playing in the leaves with your German Shepard puppy, seeing as Nazi wanted it to protect you, seeing as you were a part of an important family, "PAPA! MR NAZI JUST DROVE IN!" Your father came out, well...adoptive father, your real family left you, seeing you as a burden. " Hallo Japan, how are you?" As they talked you kept playing with Ginger, giggling as he licked your face " Ginger! Stop! That tickles!" A smol boi germany saw you and got out of his father's car, walking to you "Hallo Ms Y/N" "Konichi'wa Germany!" Y o u got up and hugged him, he cherrished your hugs the best he could, but also the smell of ginger and green tea you had around you "Germany, wanna play with Ginger?" He nodded, smiling a bit.

1hr later]

You heard sirens along with Ginger, before anyone else "Germany- Get papa and Mr Nazi! We have to hide!" He ran inside, while you grabbed Ginger and ran for the shelter "Papa c'mon! Please make it!" After 15 minutes germany and Mr Nazi came in, Japan swiftly moving you all down further "Y/N... How did you hear the sirens?" "I did as you said papa! Pay close attention to your suroundings and listen closely!" He looked very proud, and Nazi was impressed, " Japan, you made a small soldier with great hearing" "Mr Nazi...Papa is away most of the time, so i focus more on sounds that are far away" you sat down next to Germany and Ginger, falling asleep.

15 years later.

Your pov
It has been a while since I caught up with Germany, papa has changed after the war, and Nazi died, " maybe i should call him... No...he has a lot of work to do... And im taking care of Little Japs for papa..." I sighed, being 21 (you were 6 when this began, 15 yrs l8r is 21- math-) is a bit stressful.

I got a text from Little Japs,

"Konichi'wa big sis! Germany said he is coming over! He wants to ask you something, which is strange... He never stops work unless its really important!"
I laugh a bit, "thanks Japs," about 15 minutes after the text the doorbell rings, to which i open it " Heya Germany! Japs told me you were coming over, what's it you need?" He figeted, " well, i-its complicated..." "Its alright take your time." A 15 year old Ginger came lumbering out of my room, but after seeing germany his tail wagged " You still have Ginger? I thought he passed from a bullet...." " well... He did get shot...but survived it, he is very strong! Arent cha boy?" 'Woof!' You calmly laughed, "they usually live to 11... But he is still chugging, even at 15....Anyway, How ya been?" As you two talked, you learned what had happened, almost crying at the thought of East being taken. " Ginger, lay next to Germany for a bit boy... Germany, im going to make some coffee and tea, if thats alright" he nodded, petting Ginger. As i go make the drinks memories just flood through me, good and bad, tears fell "im so sorry....i didnt stay...i couldnt help...." The memories of some townspeople being killed, while you were dragged away by your father.

3rd pov
Germany was getting a bit worried, even Ginger, he got up, going to the kitchen, seeing you in a corner and the coffee and tea pots going off. He took those off the stove and went to you " Y/n? You alright?" You hugged him, saying the many things he half understood, " Shhh, its alright, c'mon, lets get you some tea-" "n-no....stay....please..." You had tears streaming down your face, and he wiped them away "ok, Ill stay liebe."

And so he did, singing in german, his voice was a steady baritone, giving the song a soothing aura, you fell asleep, having ginger on your left and Germany on your right, like old times.
