(SURPRISE!!)
DEANS POV.
I changed my entire demeanor as soon as the door was closed.
Quickly, I made my way to Axel and Damon's room.
Looking behind me once, I pulled out their spare room key, and walked into the crime scene.
"Where is he?" I asked, getting straight to the point.
The two were sitting on the couch, looking calm and collected.
"Bathroom."
I found the room, and barged right in.
There inside the tub, was a bloodied man, who was also somehow hogtied.
I didn't teach them that.
But, they did do a lot of damage, as far as I could see.
He looked up at me with a grin."How's your sister?" He asked.
I felt Damon and Axel come up behind me.
"Here you go." Damon said as he handed me a bottle of liquor.
"Thanks."
I unscrewed the cap, and poured it all over the guy.
He was about to scream from the pain, so I stopped for a second.
"If you scream, you'll be losing your tongue."
Still, he didn't speak.
"We could do it the easy or hard way man. Your call."
He spat one of his teeth at me.
Damn, they did some damage.
"Who sent you?"
Nothing.
"What is your mission."
Nothing.
I got up and sighed.
I shrugged off my jacket, and tossed it to Axel.
"Can I be the one to kill him?" He asked hopefully.
Freaking blood thirsty maniac.
"Sure."
I took off my watch, and set it on the counter.
Next, I unbuttoned my white dress shirt.
"Why the hell are you losing clothes Vinati?" Asked the guy.
I didn't answer.
I looked at my tattoo on my chest in the mirror, and the golden cross hanging next to it.
For Lana.
Finally, I turned back to him.
"Because, if my sister sees blood on me, she won't speak in my presence ever again."
"Who do you think sent it?" Damon asked, referring to the now dead hit man.
I tried to get him talking for an hour, but ended up letting Axel do what he had been itching to do since he talked about Lana.
"Vega, obviously, but he's training them good if they choose a slow death instead of a quick one." I said as I finished buttoning my shirt back up.
"See you later boss." Said the head of my 'cleaning' crew as he came from the bathroom.
"Thanks George. Say hi to the wife for me."
He gave a tired wave before closing the door behind him.
"So, what are you going to tell Lana?"
"That some crazy ass interviewers and press came to you guy's room, and I had to help manage the crowd."
"Whatever, just watch your mouth."
"I'm aware."
I walked out of their room, senses on high alert.
They know where we are.
If Lana weren't here, I really wouldn't care at all.
But, if the funeral is tomorrow, and none of us are here, besides Lana, then what?
I mean, yeah sure, I had plans to have our room guarded very intensely, but now, I'm not sure if that's the best idea.
I had the entire hotel armed with my men, and yet the guy slipped through.
She's not gonna be happy about this.
I sighed before opening the door.
"Hey guys." I said, acting as if I didn't torture a man until he was near death.
"Hey. Where hav you been?" Asked Vincent, clearly annoyed.
I gave him the 'I'll explain later' look.
"Ok, so here's the thing." I said as I sat on the couch next to Vincent.
Lana was watching me, clearly having a lot of questions go through her head.
"You know how sometimes, people do crazy things to see a well known group of people?"
She nodded.
"Well, sometimes it's not really safe when they try to get a hold of you."
She raised an eyebrow.
"Ok, I'll cut to the chase. You're going to have to come to the funeral tomorrow."
I said it fast because I wanted to get this done quickly so I wouldn't have to feel worse.
"W-what? No. There has to be something else."
"I'm sorry Lana, but we can't risk your safety."
"I-is someone trying to kill you? Shouldn't you call the cops."
"If we call the cops, then they will target us even more."
Nice cover up Dean.
"I-I can't do big groups of people. Much less a funeral. I hate funerals." She said as she paced the room.
"It'll be ok."
"I don't even have anything to wear."
"I can have something sent in the morning."
"Are you sure this is the only other option."
"The one you would be most comfortable with."
She stopped moving and sighed.
"I'm going to go take a shower."
As soon as I heard the water running, I turned to Vincent.
"Come on, let's go to the rooftop and I'll explain everything."
He grabbed a coat as I sent a message to head of security.
Vincent grabbed a pen and paper.
"Going to the rooftop to meet the other two idiots and tell them about what's going on. No parties.
Xx -your most awesome, beautiful, cool, favorite brother."
"Really?" I asked.
He shrugged. "Just establishing that I'm the cool one."
I rolled my eyes and walked out the door, him closely following.
Eight men were already there.
"Don't let anyone in or out. If I come back and something is wrong with the girl in there, all of you will spend your last few moments in pain. Do you understand?"
"Yes capo."
