Danmachi:a new face

chapter3: the dungeon

It was the next day and i was getting ready for the dungeon until i heard a knock on my door.

''Hey Acro its me bell can i come in''Bell said

''Sure you can come in'' i say to Bell
''goddess wants you to come to our house to eat breakfast'' Bell said

''Sure i can go'' i tell Bell
A few minutes later i arrive at the church we had some food me and Bell went to the guild

''Hey Eina im heading off to do what you had told me to do yesterday'' i said to Eina

Eina waved as I headed out of the guild to go to the dungeon. When i arrived i went down to the 1st floor i instantly was greeted with a roar from the darkness. As soon as i heard that i drew my saber then out of the darkness i see a kobold charge at me. Before it hit me i thrusted the blade through its face, it screeched until it disappeared in to smoke leaving behind its magic stone. I take the stone and put it into my pouch. Then all of a sudden something zoomed pass me. I used my skill speed swap to go and see what that was. Once i caught up with it i noticed that it was a jack bird i communicated with it using creature talk.

''What do you want to do?'' I askes the bird

''i want a race if you win i will be yours'' the bird chirped

''Alright then lets race to the other side of the dungeon''i say to the bird

We started to run, the jack bird was in front of me until i traded most of my magic for speed and then i moved at blinding speed. I had won the race.

''That was fun, nobody is fast enough to race with me. Well i guess i am yours to keep.'' The bird said

''Well you can help me with killing four more monsters'' i tell the bird

''Alright then'' the bird chirped

Then around ten kolbolds came to attack us so i summoned a possessed shield to protect us i slice two of them reducing them to stones. Then the jack bird killed another two kobolds. Then a kobold ambushed me and then it bit my arm, it tore through my clothes then i drew my bagnak then sliced its face with the claws on the baganak killing it. Once that kobold was taken care of we got the rest of the kobolds pretty easily. After we took care of the kobolds i went back to the guild to show eina that i had completed my mission that she gave me.

'' hey Eina i did the mision you gave me'' i say to Eina

''So i guess you do have what it takes'' Eina said while looking at my jack bird ''you know you can get a jack bird egg from your hack bird for a lot of valis'

''Oh i guess i got  free money'' i say happily

''Are you a part of a Familia?'' Eina asks.

''Yeah i just joined one yesterday i am a part of the Festia Familia'' i tell Eina

''Wait are you a part of the Hestia familia'' came from a voice over my shoulder.

''Uhh yeah? Wait Aiz why are you here?'' I said to Aiz

''So how Bell doing? Is he fine? Is he scared of me?'' Aiz questioned

''Yeah he is doing fine and i dont think he is scared of you'' i say confusingly

"well I can rest easy for now" Aiz said

"well see ya later" i say awkwardly 

I head out of the guild to go and tell bell that I am free tomorrow to go to the dungeon. Once I had arrived at the church I knock but nobody came to answer so I get a note saying that I am free to go to the dungeon with bell. I head back home to sleep.

(A/N so my exams are coming up so I won't be writing as much for a few days)
