Chapter 52:Just A "Normal" Day

"Umm Miss Hestia, where is the Grey Ghost." Saki asked.

"He's uhh. How do you put it? He's unavailable."

"How unavailable?"

"Mentally."

I groggily opened my eyes. "Ugh. What happened?"

Suddenly the memories came flooding back. Rem and Natsuki were trapped under some rubble. Ishtar has gone up to the upper world. 

"Where are they?" I muttered as I stood up from my bed. When I was about run out of my room something caught my eye. "When did Coco give me her scarf?"

When I moved my arm to inspect the scarf, I saw Lante's bracelet on my wrist. The patterning that was on the bracelet was a dead giveaway that it was Lante's bracelet. "What?"

I moved the scarf and saw Rethusa's pendant. "What is happening, when did they come visit me?" Remembering what I was originally doing, I slapped my face to calm myself down and burst open the door and ran down the halls to where Rem and Natsuki were resting.

Right as I got to the door, I burst through the door. There was nobody on the bed. Upon realizing that they weren't there, I went into straight panic mode and slammed the door shut in pure frustration.

'They're gone.' 

"Acro?"

I look to my left and to my surprise, they were alive. My body just moved without me even thinking. I tackled both Rem and Natsuki to the ground.

"Woah, Acro. Are you okay, that wall wasn't nearly enough to kill us." Natsuki said as she tried to comfort me.

"Just...Shut up for a bit, I gotta collect my thoughts." I said as I relaxed my whole body.

After a few minutes of calming myself down, I got off of them and sat down on the floor. 

"Are you sure you're fine right now?" Rem asked as she offered me her hand to help me up.

"...Yeah, I think I'm fine." I took her hand she helped me up.

"Are you sure? Your tail is all flared up. And then there's that scarf and bracelet." Rem replied.

"I'm fine, really." I said as I tried my best to relax my tail.

"Fine then, if you say so. Now come on, we're gonna fill you in on what happened when you were out." 

"I was unconscious?"

"Well apparently, we woke up just a day after after Haruhime joined the familia and you been out for about three days after that. We had Lante come to check to see if you were fine and we found out that you weren't doing well mentally." Natsuki replied.

"Yeah, with all the things that are happening, we cant really celebrate our birthdays. Natsuki's gone and mine just passed yesterday." 

As soon as I hear that, a huge wave of guilt came over me.  "I'm sorry..."

"Don't apologize, we couldn't do anything about it." Rem said ash she sat down on the couch. 

"Bu-" Rem covered my mouth.

"No buts." 

Haruhime walked into the room and looked directly at me.

"Hey Grey Ghost. A-Are you okay?" She said nervously. "Thanks for saving me." 

"Don't worry about that, I just did what I felt was morally correct. By the way, you can call me Acro, don't bother with the formalities." 

"Uhmm...Sure thing." Se replied with a smile.

"Yeah, I just need to calm down." I said as I laid down onto the couch.

I just sat there, blocking out everything that they were saying. As I sat there the memories of the past few days came flooding in. ' What did I ever do to deserve this?'

Then suddenly memories of an unfamiliar past came to thought. Going out of Orario to complete a mission with Artemis and Hermes. Fighting a humongous monster called Antares. Two Artemis's, a Sabre and a Spear.  "Wait..."

"Huh? What's up?" Natsuki asked as I sat up.

"Do you have any memory of going to a place called The Ruins Of Elis?"

Nothing...There was no reply. They only gave me a very scared and concerned look.

"So you had that same dream too?" Rem said with a hint of fear in her voice. 

"I dunno. What are you talking about?"

"Did you end up having to fight a monster called Antares who had Artemis inside of it?"

And just like that everything came flooding back. Artemis's familia being wiped out, Surtr and Orion. And...Artemis's death.

"Yeah, did the dream end right after Artemis was...you know...killed."

"No, for some reason the dream ended at different times for everyone. Apparently the whole world had this same dream, as if it were a different timeline. "
