Danmachi:a new face

chapter 16: the Goliath

it is just me and the Goliath. i instantly ran to a forest of pillars that was at the side of the room.

the Goiliath began to tear through the pillars of rock and I began to speed up and begin to rotate it's arm, slicing deeper every rotation. once I hit the bone, I froze it shut. I warped not too far away, on a wall and jumped off the wall. with one solid hit to its arm it snapped in two. almost instantly It's arm began to regrow at alarming rates, breaking through my ice.

"well that won't work on it" 

I continued to run around it as I began to think of a strategy. almost instantly the Goliath grabbed a stone pillar and swung it right into me, sending me flying into a wall. pain started to erupt from my leg, the wound on my leg has re opened with a a few more rocks impaling my leg. I yell in pain as I fall down the wall. as I struggle to get up, the Goliath raised the pillar to squash me. the pillar was a few inches from crushing me, I had closed my eyes, preparing for the impact. but then nothing, I finally opened my eyes and I see a long, black tentacle like thing, wedged under the pillar.

"what the heck?"

I crawl out from under the pillar. to see the Goliath waiting for me, it's giant hand gripped me as I tried to get away but i saw its second hand coming in to rip me in half. i warped behind the Goliath's head, and created 2 shields and landed on the inside of them and started to fly around. I began to charge up my aquashard blast, after about a minute of dodging I blast the icicle to the ground and it froze the surface of the whole room, walls, roof and all. 

the Goliath, breaking from its icy shell roared in anger. its mouth started to glow, then a gust of the concentrated howls of the Goliath. it came so fast I couldn't even react, it blew me right off the shield. it sent me into another wall but this time i wasn't to lucky, my left arm took most of the impact followed by my right leg. pain erupted from my leg and arm, they where both broken, with an added touch of rocks deeper in my leg. 

with half of My limbs broken I landed on one of the shields, I brought the shield down to the ground and placed Me on the floor. the Goliath towered over me, I fought through the pain and used both of my hook swords and dug them into the ground and propelled my self around the room. 

"I call upon the goddess of trickery to bestow me with her power, to allow me to overpower my enemies with their own power. Black hole beam!!!!"

a white beam of light erupted from my hand, as it hit the Goliath stopped the beam. then I Sent out a entirely different beam made of the Goliath's howls, the sheer power of the howls sent the Goliath back a few feet and also left a huge mark on its chest.

" your not as durable as I thought" 

I began to continue to use its howls to send it flying around the room. suddenly the another black tentacle came through the ground and wrapped around the Goliath's leg and threw it across the room, I took this chance and created a huge icicle and it went straight through the Goliath but it wasn't enough to pierce the magic stone. as the Goliath fell I created a mine field of icicles, and they all stabbed the Goliath, but it wasn't enough.

suddenly I got an idea, I tried to create the Black tentacles. they started to sprout from the ground and strapped it to the floor, the icicled where poking out of the Goliath's back.

then my vision went blurry, then nothing. I guess that I'm dead. goodbye world!
