"Black hole beam."

'I cant control myself. Its happening again. I have no control over what happens. There's no point in fighting, I'm just gonna end up wasting my time. So for now I'm just going to watch what happens.'

I watched as many purple beams of pure magic shot out of my body in every direction. Each and every beam was directed at a different monster. Just like before, the monsters hadn't noticed the beam hitting them.

for me however, I couldn't feel anything I could still look around like normal but my body was moving on its own. The only sense that I still had control over was my sight. When I looked at my body, it was a mix of many monsters.

Scales, fur, feathers, claws and enhanced sight. Those were only some of the features that I had gained from the monsters. I had used the natural ability of the war shadow and sunk into the floor and began to dart around the area through the floor and walls.

The thing controlling my body had one mission however. I went straight over to where Bell was fighting that other adventurer. I had snuck right under him and jumped out, using my newfound claws to lacerate his legs.

He just barely dodged out of the way. "Woah, calm down there buddy. Don't think I didn't see you use that trick of yours."

"Acro, what are you doing?" Bell exclaimed.

As I rose out of the ground I looked at Bell in the eyes and pointed at the other adventurer.

"Ah, so you're the great Grey Ghost. never thought I would get to fight both of you. Well before you die, you might as well know my name. The name's Dix Perdix, captain of the Ikelos familia. Now shall we begin?" Dix pointed his spear at us.

I dropped down to get on all fours and pounced at Dix but it was easily predicted and he simply sidestepped my attack. Right as I landed on the ground, I sunk down into the floor and went in for another surprise attack.

"Do you realize that you cant use the same tricks over and over?" He taunted as he raised his spear to pierce my spine.

"Firebolt!" A stream of fire mixed in with reddish electricity slapped right into Dix's back. "Don't forget about me."

I kicked his spear out of the way and fired off a icicle that dug itself into his right arm.

"Hmm, so that's how you want to play." Dix pulled the icicle out from his arm. "Ya really put me in a pinch, especially with that poison ice stuff. Well that just means that I have to try harder to kick your asses."

I simply raised my hand and within my mind I head a female voice chant. "Crushing gravity." Her voice was almost robotic, it was like she was following some code that she couldn't stop doing.

"You guys really don't understand what it's like to be cursed like this. Do you know how annoying it is to have that burning feeling in the back of your eyes that you cant even do anything about." Dix seemed completely unaffected by the spell or the spell didn't even cast. Either way, Dix became much more aggressive and began swinging his spear at Bell.

With one overhead swing, he had knocked Bell right off of his feet, leaving him wide open for any attack. But the thing controlling my body had a different idea and I lifted my hand up and the same voice chanted. "Mana wall."

Just as Dix was halfway through swinging his spear, it impacted an invisible force. The invisible force was the mana wall that I had created and while he was still trying to process what was happening, I slammed the wall down onto Dix which pinned him to the floor.

"Hey you two, don't you want to know where that Vouivre is? You'll never know where she is if you kill me." Dix said as his final resort to escape his situation.

'Hey, you're Sarah right?'

"Yeah, that's me." Her voice gained emotion.

'Good, for the sake of out contract, let him go.'

"Before I do that, do you mind telling me why I'm in control of your body?"

'Hell would I know? You just took over my body, that's it.'

"So it happened again."

"Hey Grey Ghost, do you want to see her or not? You know I can see you muttering to yourself. Now quit wasting our time and let me out."

"Right, I'll let you go for now." Sarah replied as she unsummoned the wall.

"Good, now follow me." Dix dusted himself off.

"Bell, c'mon. We have to follow him, its our best shot to see Weine again." All of these words didn't come from me. All of these words came from Sarah.

Weird thing is, is that I hear her speaking in her normal voice but with others it seems to be just my normal voice. It's probably like that because it is in fact still my body, but it certainly is very hard to get used to.

"Okay." Bell hung his head low in defeat.

We both followed Dix down a hidden pathway into a room lit by a single lantern that emitted a red light. Not too far from the lantern was Weine. She was propped up on a pedestal with both of her wrists held up by a chain. One of her jet black wings were on fill display as if it was her last attempt to escape these confines. This thought was further supported by the number of scratches that were visible on her body.

"Weine!" Bell shouted as he looked at this sight.

Weine weakly opened her eyes to see both Me and Bell standing in the door way. "P-Please save me!!" She shouted as she struggled to escape her confines once again.

Dix grabbed Weine by the hair and showed us the red gem that laid upon her forehead. "I've got a question for you both. What do you think will happen when I rip this thing off?"
