Chapter 43: The Fall of the Ishtar Familia (Part 1)

"Bingo." 

I flew over to the explosion and when I got to the base of the tower I saw Bell rushing into the tower.

"Well then, lets do this...Arrow Of Orion." A blue, magical bow appeared out of thin air. 

When I grabbed it, I pulled back the string. When the string was fully extended, a magical arrow manifested in the bow. It was dead silent, the only thing that could be heard was the wind that brushed past my face. I took a deep breath and let go of the string. 

I watched as the arrow soared out of sight. There was nothing. After a few seconds an explosion erupted from one of the window in the tower.

"Well I guess that works." I said as I floated over to the tower and jumped through one of the windows of the tower.

"What the? is the whole Hestia Familia here?" Someone's voice rung out of the other side of the hallway.

"Look, it's the Grey Ghost!" Another voice came from the other, other side of the hallway.

"Guess, I'm cornered." I casually said as I warped to the story above. 

Right as I stood up, I checked to see if there where anyone around. As I roamed the halls of the tower, I tried to gather my thoughts to come up with a conclusion of what the Ishtar familia was doing.

"Renard, soul, sacrifice. To make them stronger. Killing the Renard...The Killing Stone." I hastened my steps when I came to that deduction. "Midnight in direct moonlight. The only place where that could happen is on the top floor. 

I used my magic to speed me up, I was moving so fast in fact It was hard to even see me. When I looked out of the window I saw that the moon was almost directly over the tower. Seeing that I was almost out of time, I began to warp a few meters ahead every few seconds.

With every twist and turn of the hallways I simply warped past the twists and turns. With every Ishtar familia member I came across, I warped past them. I kept roaming the hallways and with each dead ends I found, the more patience was being squeezed out of me.

Suddenly a flash of red caught my eye. 

"What in the world is that?" When I got a better look at where this red light came from, I saw Mikoto falling down the tower.

I got one of my shields that I has summoned earlier to catch Mikoto. I got another one of my shields and I jumped onto the shield. 

"Mikoto! Show me where the ritual is being held!"

"Follow me!"

Mikoto flew up to a platform on the tower. and when I landed on the tower, I saw Haruhime standing on a pedestal, ready to start the ritual. I saw the Ishtar familia captain, Phryne. 

"You deal with the others, I'll deal with her." I said as I brought the bow back out and fired off a bolt at Phryne.

She smacked the bolt away with her battle axe and gave me a sadistic look. "Looks like a little ghost wants to be exorcised."

Just hearing those words sent chills down my spine. Before I even knew it, I she was right in my face. 

"Blade Burst." I said hurriedly and right as I said this, a strong gust of wind came flying out of my hand followed by magical blades that went flying in Phryne's direction.

And just like before, she easily deflected the blades. 

"Not yet! Bell, not yet!" When I looked over at Mikoto's direction I saw that she was even more beaten up than before.

"Mikoto, brace for impact!" I shouted "I call upon the spirit of the wind, to aid me in this battle, for I seek your help! Come now and heed my plead for help! Gale Burst!" Right after this incantation I got both of the shields to block both the Renard and Mikoto.

A large fairy like spirit appeared in front of the group of Ishtar familia members. It then began to suck everything in with immense force. While this was happening, I was trying to not get sucked in myself and kicked everyone into the spirit. I managed to get everyone except for Phryne and Aisha into the spirit. after a few more seconds the spirit let out a huge gust of wind and sent everyone who was sucked in was sent flyting off the building. 

Right after this happened, Phryne kicked Mikoto off the edge of the edge of the building along with the others. 

"BELL!!!!!!"

Bell ran out of hiding and as soon as Phryne saw this, she shouted "Aisha! Kill Haruhime!"

Upon hearing this I summoned a black tentacle and it wrapped around Aisha's ankle, tripping her. 

"Bell, destroy the stone!"

Bell rushed over and shattered the glowing stone that was attached to the edge of a dagger. 

*Boom* 

This sudden explosion caught everyone's attention. There was a pitch black bolt of lightning that shot out of the streets of the Pleasure quarter. The whole pleasure quarter quarter was up in flames.

"Guess their here." I muttered. 

I took this opportunity to tackle Phryne off of the building. She Instantly grabbed my arm as she fell off of the building. 

"Crushing gravity."

This caused us to fall down even faster and when we landed, I had used a black tentacle to cushion the impact but in turn, it also cushioned Phryne. 

"You're gonna be fighting me."
