Danmachi:a new face

chapter 5: monsterphillia

It was the next morning and I and I go check the church and it was empty so I went to the guild. When I walk past the tavern I see Bell apologising to Mia. 

Then Mia calls me to come in and says "you should be thanking him for paying me when you left."

"uhhh thanks Acro" Bell said very embarrassed.

After Bell had apologised we left to go to the dungeon. A few minutes later we had arrived at the sixth floor. We search around a bit, but I felt a presence that was following us, I stop and I was looking for any movement. Then I something slinking around the walls. I alert Bell and then some war shadows came out of the walls and let out a screech. then I got an idea to tame one.

"hey you what can I do to get you to come along with us?" I ask one of the war shadow.

"give me something fun to play with" the war shadow said

"wow" Bell whispered

Then I summon a shield for the war shadow. Instantly the war shadow went to strike the shield, then it continuously attacked the shield. 

"hey Bell while that one is distracted we can take out the other one's" I said to Bell

"alright then" Bell said while he drew his knife.

I drew my saber and slashed through the shadows reducing them to stones. Once we took care of the war shadows, the other war shadow was satisfied and followed us to another area when we saw some frog shooters. I thought about something for a moment.

"if  I tame monster from the same floor they would cooperate because they have been In the same floor for so long and had to of fought together against a adventurer."I mumble to myself. "hey you what do you want to do?" I ask the creature

"I'd love to practice my aim on a moving target that won't Kill me." the frog croaked

At this point the shield was still floating around so I threw the shield at the frog and it sent the shield flying at a wall and I continued to do this until Bell had finished dealing with the other frogs.

we left the dungeon with 2 new tamed monsters and a lot of magic stones. after we exchanged the magic stones, we ended up with 14 000 valis. After that we went home and dropped off my monsters with my Jack bird. after that we went to Bells place to update our status.

MAGIC:

-weapon spirit (non chant magic)

allows the user to cast a possessed weapon of their choosing to fight for the user (this pretty much gives them a party member) can be used two times a day.the weapon can't be changed after summoned, you have to summon a completely different possessed weapon to get a different weapon.

-aquashard strike(non chant magic)

allows the user to create a icicle that is made of a poison that is lethal to all monsters(they can decide if there is poison in the icicle). the poison gives the icicle an aqua colour. the icicle homes in on the enemy until it either impales the target to freezes a bit of the target

SKILLS:

-speed swap

when using this skill the user is allowed to trade magic for speed once using this ability they are faster and don't make a sound while running/walking. while using this skill their magic is weakened by the amount of magic traded.

-creature talk

this allows the user to understand what any creature is saying to the user or another creature/person.

-terra warp

this allows the user to warp to any place that is in a short radius of the users original position.

"hey Hestia how did I get this new skill and this new skill spell" I ask Hestia

"maybe it had to do with the new monsters you tamed" Hestia said

"hmmm. well see ya tomorrow" I say as I leave the church

I head to my house to sleep and see how the monsters are doing.

a few days later I woke up to someone knocking on my door. I get up and get ready to go to the dungeon.

"Hey Bell in ready to go to the dungeon" I say to Bell as we leave the town.

"Hey acro you haven't eaten in a while haven't you?" Bell asked me.

"yeah I haven't eaten I a while" I replied while my belly rumbled

after I had said that Bell handed me a few fried potatoes and I ended up eating them all in a few seconds.

Once we walked passed the hostess of fertility we heard someone yell"Heyyy can you bring this to to Syr-nya because she forgot her wallet-nya" Anya said

"what do you" "yeah I got it we can do that" I say while cutting off Bell.

"but where can we find her?" Bell asked

"I'm not too sure but it's happening at the coliseum" Ryuu said

"alright then bye" Bell says while waving them goodbye.

a few minutes later we arrive at the monsterphillia we notice that it was near impossible to find Syr. So we continued to look for Syr.

''Hey Bell'' Hestia said hapily.

''Goddess? i didn't know that you where here.'' bell said

Soon after that Hestia ran off with Bell leaving me behind. Then i just wandered around because Bell had the purse. Then i ended up in Dedalus street and got lost in all of those corridors around. Then i heard a roar followed by Bell and Hestia running away from a Silverback, a Silverback is an ape type monster that has silvery fur. After i saw Hestia and Bell i instinctively ran at the ape catching its attention. It instantly came running at me because it saw me as a threat that will probably stop it from from doing, (from what I thought at the time) its masters request. then it started to swing the chains that where shackled to it's wrists but before it hit me I warped to Hestia and Bell and began to run as it was still looking for me. then we arrived at a place that I assume leaded to the sewers. Then Bell locked me and Hestia in the room.

"Bell stop this now! unlock this now!" Hestia yelled

"I don't want to loose anymore family" Bell said under his breath, just loud enough for me to make out

"Bell don't leave us here locked up in this cage!" I yell
