Danmachi:a new face

chapter 22: the Apollo familia

(A/N: im gonna change the time line a bit and i'm gonna make the events of the movie happen sometime after the 2nd season instead of in between the 1st and 2nd season)

a few days have passed since that incident on the 18th floor and while everyone else has been off to the dungeon, i have been resting for the past few days. today is the day, when i make my return to the dungeon.

as i get up i hear that very familiar knock.

"are you three ready?"

"yeah yeah hold up, ok it's my first day back." i reply

LATER

we all gathered around at the entrance of the dungeon.

"Mikoto are you sure you want to head down with us?" i ask

"its fine. plus i'm the one that wanted to come with you today' she replied

"alright then"

ON THE 13TH FLOOR

once again we where surrounded my a few hell hounds. Bell makes the first move, killing one of the hell hounds. after all that all hell brakes loose. i begin to slash every monster i see on the neck, killing them.

"c'mon guys, were you seriously going like this when i was gone?" i say jokingly

"shut up ok!" Natsuki yelled back

i chuckle "but seriously, hurry up. the three of us cant do this alone"

Natsuki runs up and begins to deal with a few of the hell hounds.i felt something brush against by head. i look back to see that i'm face to face with a hell hound, suddenly it was blown away by something. i look around to find Rem standing there with a smug look on her face.

"are you seriously that bad after a small break?" she says smugly

"oh shut up will ya" i say as i shoot a almiraj in the head with an icicle.

i see a huge group of almiraj appear in a corridor

"Lili, cover me!" i say as i begin to chant

once i had finished chanting i left it there to charge up. after a few seconds of charging it up i send out a thin but powerful beam of energy. instead of the beam being white, it was actually a light shade of purple. i aimed the blast at the almiraj, and it pushed some of the almiraj back down the corridor. i left the rest to everyone else. the thing is, is if that if i charge my attacks up for too long it will start to consume a lot of stamina. and if that happens my main way of fighting is out the window, and i don't want that to happen.

after they had all dealt with the almiraj, everyone came over to me.

"Acro why was your beam purple and why was it able to push some of those things back?" Rem asked

"first off i don't know why it was purple, and that other thing was a little trick i picked up on while i was on my little break"

LATER AT THE TAVERN

"congrats on your rank up, Welf" i say to Welf

"thanks bud" he replied

"level two, huh you know since your one of your familia's best black smiths, everything that you bake will be worth a lot more for now on" Lili says

"well im just glad that i won't tarnish Hephaestus's name" Welf replied

"but sadly, this will probably be the end of out party" Lili pauses for a second "the whole reason you joined is, because you wanted to rank up and get some new smithing skills... i guess that now you have done that, this is it then."
