What should I wear? Irene asked herself. She feel so stupid for agreeing on having a dinner with Lisa. No one can blame her, she's craving for Thai food. And she doesn't know where to find it. She'll tell it later to the younger lady what she wants.
She decided to put a white crop top and long black cardigan paired with black jeans and white sneakers. Just enough to protect herself from freezing to death.
"You're done" Lisa said softly. Eyeing Irene, not in a maniac way but simply admiring the goddess in front of her.
"Yeah, can we go to Thai restaurant?" Irene ask her as they went inside the elevator.
"Oh sure, I planned to go on Japanese since you like to cook katsudon, I just guess. But I'm happy you like the Thai dish" Lisa said, engaging herself into conversation.
"Yes, it was strange at first but then it became so delicious inside my mouth" Irene responded smiling.
"You're a foodie too, just like my Chae" Lisa chuckled. My Chae? Irene think she heard that name before.
"My bestfriend" Lisa added.
"The one who dance with you at the program?" Irene added as confirmation.
"Yep. You watch us?" Lisa blushed.
"As if we had a choice" Irene rolled her eyes.
"You're right. Our principal is an ass" Lisa chuckled.
They continue to talk, comfortable on each others company. Going outside the cab, Lisa guide Irene inside the place. The last time she ate here was when she was with her best friends, like two months ago. Lisa feel good comfort whenever she's here at this place, it felt like home. It felt she was home in Thailand.
Irene trust her for their food. She asked Irene but the older lady just said "Choose me something with soup and taste delicious" she find it cute. Irene isn't shy telling what she wants. So she ordered Thai Chicken Soup and Pho Thai.
Surprisingly, they enjoyed. No more weird statements, no more glaring and cold stares. They talk like normal friends.
"Do you like Pho Thai?" Lisa asked.
"Yes. It's tasty" Irene answered not looking on her, busy sipping on her food.
"You wanna taste this?" Lisa referring to Thai Chicken Soup. She didn't wait for Irene to respond and she put her soup spoon in front of Irene's lips. The older lady didn't hesitate, as she immediately push towards her lips Lisa's hands so she can taste it.
"Wow, I want this too" Irene moan at the taste. Lisa smiled at her warmly.
"Now? You want one?" Lisa asked. Still surprised at how heavy eater Irene is.
"Next time?" Irene asked carefully. She's kinda full.
"Next time." Lisa said smiling.
Both of them was contented at the comfortable silence. Satisfied to what they have learned on each other. Lisa opened up being a Business student as she had no choice, living alone, but felt happy because Chae, Jisoo and her members which she considers friends are in her life. Nothing too personal. Irene on the other hand, told her that she was from Daegu to take masterals and work here for good. That she was surprised to saw Wendy and Joy here. That she was less scared on her life.
"You want to try Thai milk tea?" Lisa asked Irene which making the latter look on her surprised.
"They have?"
"Uh yes. Milk tea here is actually the best" Lisa said smiling.
"You're not lying?"
"Why would I lie?" Lisa chuckled.
