"I got my wallet, with tons of money on it." Lia said humbly.
"There's no one?" Lia asked, exiting the fitting room, deciding to let Lisa chose what she wants. They looked for the person who knocked because Lia felt discomfort not having a rebut.
"I thought I heard her voice." Lisa said clutching on her chest.
"Who?"
"Irene." Lisa wiped her nonexistent sweat. Lia just smirked at her.
"Fate huh. It could be actually her." Lia stated and Lisa gulped hard.
"I'll pay these and wait for me outside, look for somewhere to eat. I'm starving." Lia said and Lisa knew what she wants.
"This is a loan, I'll pay you once I got a job." Lisa said and Lia waive her hand indicating Lisa to vanish.
"How long was the last time you've seen her?" Lia asked chewing some beef seasoned with salt and pepper.
"Two years this coming Sunday." Lisa replied after slurping soup.
"That's awfully long."
"Real painful truth." Lisa said.
"It's only been three days since we got back here and you already heard her voice. What makes you think you can let a week passed without seeing her?" Lia curiously asked.
"And might if I add, she had friendsssss unlike someone in my front who chose to be with a criminal's sister" Lia said.
"Aish! You're not like that, okay, you are more than that. You can be a criminal yourself." Lisa said and Lia spit out her food accidentally.
"I swear, I'll pour this boiling soup on you." Lia said and Lisa laughed so hard. Lia just observed her. It's been awhile since she laughed like that.
"What?" Lisa asked her laughter dying down but a smile was still plastered in her beautiful face.
"Nothing." Lia shook her head. I think you're already healed. I'm happy for you, Lisa unnie. I wish you and Irene unnie can get back together soon.
"You're thinking something, don't lie on me." Lisa said poking Lia's cheeks.
"You cut off your communication to everyone right?" Lia asked instead.
"Do you think they still consider you as a friend?" Lia said and Lisa's smile faded but it quickly return with a smile not reaching her ears.
"It's okay, if they don't. I understand." Lisa said.
"Do you met them like that?" Lia asked.
"No, but time changes people, right?" Lisa said.
"Right." Time changes people and it's not always for good.
These previous months, Taehyung really tried to win Irene's heart by consistantly giving her gifts and asking her out. On which, Irene always decline but the young lad would accept it with a smile and will return tomorrow with the more perseverance.
"Lunch?" Taehyung asked pestering Irene.
"No."
"Snacks?"
"No."
"Dinner?" Taehyung asked making a cute face. Irene looked away in disgust.
"NO." Irene said and Taehyung rub his hair.
"Okay, maybe tomorrow." Taehyung shouted but Irene didn't care. The man left the room since he still had some errands to do.
"I spent more time to Taehyung than you with him and you two are business partners." Wendy pointed out.
